Positive: Spa/pool area very nice. Overall building is magnificient. My Kids loved staying in a castle. Very special. Library is wonderful as well.
Negative: We have as a 2 parties with 3 booked rooms together. When we arrived together reception mixed up the rooms, and they gave the best room to the wrong person in our group.

Negative: Overall great property, only issue was the air conditioning which did not work in our room - and didn’t get fixed despite letting the staff know, the suites are on the top floor and get heated up quickly

Positive: Breakfast, expensive but superb. Piano music in the lobby at afternoon tea in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Negative: The matrass was very hard, amenities in the room could be more extended, and we missed a separate shower, instead of included in the slippery bath tub.

Positive: We stayed during the Christmas time. First of all, the preparations for this period were wonderful. The atmosphere was great. The staff was very polite and attentive. The spa and wellness area was not crowded. On Christmas, there was a special ball dinner for two nights, and it was really beautiful, with unlimited drink service
Negative: Initially, we made a mistake by choosing the grand lit room. The problem was that the room descriptions didn’t explain the details of what each room was like and the differences between them. Had we known, we would not have booked the room, as it was in the hotel's extention building, with a tiny window and a sloped roof at the top. The walk to the room was always long, and there was no direct elevator access. Also, we had to walk through the restaurant each time we went to our room, which was quite inconvenient. As for breakfast, if you opt for the buffet and cannot consume gluten or lactose, you’re essentially wasting your money, as the options for such dietary restrictions were very limited. We ended up canceling our breakfast for the next day.
Summary: Great Christmas atmosphere, but room and breakfast are a little disappointed
