Summary: Good points, Very clean, good breakfast ( but hot option limited), very friendly & helpful staff. Bad points, Long distance from main road to hotel entrance,( uphiill all the way to reception), no lift from drive to reception (2 flights of steps to carry all yiur luggage up ) NO restaurant or snack bar available on sunday ,So NO food available, no Bar...So no drinks available, only vending machine , crisps & chocolate. Ive NEVER stayed in a hoktel with NO facilities offered to residents on sunday. Long walk frommain road to hotel reception & ALL uphill on entrance. NO lift to reception, 2 flights of steps to carry all lugage up.

Summary: The shower did not work properly with the water just nearly warm. I was told because of same maintenance but everything was solved, for two days nothing changed, it was a problem with the water mixer ( which I immediately clearly explained ). My room wasn't cleaned and they told me that this service is only under a specific request and this is written somewhere in the room, ok but as 99,9% of the Hotels do not have this approach, you have clearly to tell me this when I check in and not let me discover it by myself, I do not have time to read everything, especially that it is a very rare.I could have dinner in the restaurant because that was reserved for people of a conference...so basically nex time will chose for another one.

Summary: Parking to access was unclear. Hotel guest may have some luggage, therefore easier access is required. Room is quite good and view to see colognes city (it is far from hotel) is good

Summary: Breakfast was superb. Venue was beautiful. No coffee or tea making facilities. A promise of this and signs in hotel saying it was available in communal areas but nothing provided during the 3 days we stayed. Staff member refused to give us tokens for machine in reception and insisted we pay. For the cost of our stay we found this very poor. Also booked a double room but it was 2 twin beds pushed together with single quilts.

Summary: Unique location. For diner you have to travel a bit. Breakfast is extremely eloborate. Super. Room is nice and clean.

Summary: The property was admittedly further out from Cologne than we initially thought but the hotel itself was fantastic with a rail service and bus service bringing you straight to the front entrance. The rooms were perfect for our one night stay and the breakfast we had was exceptional. If I was ever back in this area I would certainly stay here again!
