Positive: The location is lovely, the pool side area (and nearby beach) are great for chill out, the food was great … but the highlight is the staff who are superb and bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable Gili Ashan generally is also a lovely vibe, with an easy walk around the island
Negative: Not much. Seems comparable to all the other resorts on the south / west of the island The Pearl on the east coast is more spacious, with big green areas, but the staff at Amahelia more than make up for it

Positive: Lovely resort in the most beautiful setting. The staff were fantastic. They provide canoes, paddleboard and snorkeling equipment for guest use, and will help you organise anything else you want to do.
Negative: Worth being aware that there is only wifi in the main area, not in the rooms as all their electricity comes from solar panels. Not a problem for us though.

Positive: Our stay at Amahelia was just amazing! We got a very warm welcome from Hendra and felt right at home! The whole stuff is really lovely. It’s perfect to relax and enjoy the beautiful island Gilli Asahan. You can even rent the kayak, snorkel equipment, yoga mats for free. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the stay at this amazing resort and will come back for sure! Thank you again Hendra for helping us with everything and also being such a friendly and funny person!

Positive: A warm welcome, delicious food and drinks (vanilla icecream! 😍), an adorable authentic cottage on a small island with the ocean on your doorstep, fishes and coral reef, beautiful sunsets, a swimming pool and the very welcoming and friendliest staff you can imagine; what more could you ask for! We got to spend a wonderful week in this little paradise. Yes, there are nature sounds like the roosters at dawn, twittering birds and the occasional gecko but that's also part of travelling to an island in Indonesia, isn't it? This resort has gained a special place in our hearts ♥️ Thanks for all the good care to all the staff and in particular: Mahendra & Amir (thanks again my friends for organising an amazing beachfront diner) Antonio, Habibi and Firman. Because of them our week was extra special! We will miss the daily chats, the jokes and also nice conversations about Indonesian culture (which you proudly wanted to teach us all about) thanks again and see you one day because we will definitely be back! Positive: This was my favourite stay in the Lombok region . The staff here were absolutely delightful, with a shining star being Hendra in the restaurant, he was absolutely amazing. The food was also the best I had in Lombok. Every meal was delicious. I stayed in the pool villa and also the beachfront villa, both were lovely, clean, and had very comfortable beds. The pool area was so nice to relax in, and I also enjoyed the sun loungers on the beach. The property was very quiet and chilled, exactly what I was after. I would highly recommend this gem of a place!
