6 Bedroom Villa in Porciano, Stia

Tuscan villa in the countryside, a short walk from the old town of Stia, a characteristic medieval village. Villa situated in quiet and panoramic position, with all the amenities. Ability to make cooking lessons (on request), or simply to have a cook for a typical Tuscan dinner in the villa (must try!)
Entering from the automatic gate, an elegant road with cypresses will lead you to our Tuscan Villa.
In front of the house there’s a large terrace where you have a beautiful outdoor dining area. There are also several trees around that keep the terrace fresh and shady in hot summer days.
The pool is located in a panoramic position. There are chairs, tables and umbrellas in sufficient quantity for the whole group.
“Il Cuculo” is a 3 storey Villa. The living room is on the ground floor and it’s really spacious and full of light.. Here you find a fire place, a HDMI1 TV, player and a SATELLITE TV.
There are 2 kitchens in the Villa, furnished with all modern facilities: refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, electrical oven, wood over for pizza and a washing machine.
The kitchen is equipped for everything you need for cooking: plates, glasses and pottery in large quantity.
On the 1st floor you find 5 bedrooms which can be reached by a beautiful internal staircase or an external one from the garden terrace.
The master room has a private balcony and 3 arched windows. It is about 40 squared meters so we can add also another double bed (sofa bed).
On the first floor there are two more double rooms and a single room.
There is one more bedroom on the first floor with a fold out double bed, but it’s a walk-trough room if you want to reach the second floor you have to pass it.
On the 2nd floor there’s a mansard room with both a single bed and a double bed. This can be also changed in two single beds on request (so 3 beds here). There is also an ensuite-toilet with shower here.
The 4 toilets are all tiled with coloured Italian ceramics (1 toilet on the ground floor, 1 toilet with shower on the 1st floor, 1 bathroom on the 1st floor and 1 toilet with shower on the second floor).
So there are 380 squared meters inside the Villa and 1000 squared meter outside.

Summary: We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. Stia is a cue city and everything is reachable in walking distance. Pool and view is great, an the fully integrated Pizza Oven was one of my favorites. The House was clean and the owner very friendly and helpful!

Summary: Such a beautiful and authentic villa. A setting no less than perfect for a proper stay in the Italian country side. Just a 10-minute walk from Stia and yet fully private. Lucia was the perfect host - always willing and able to help with any questions we had. We've been spending holidays in Italy for near on 20 years, always agri turismo and this place is up there among the very best. Five-star ratings from me are few and far between, but Lucia and her place definitely earns all five stars.

Summary: What an awesome little town in Tuscany! It felt as if we were the only tourists in town. From the cafes to the restaurants, Stia has everything in walking distance! What an amazing stay! We will visit again! Lucia was fantastic with her support and recommendations! We will visit again!

Summary: Our Stia stay was exactly what we were looking for as a family of 2 grandparents, 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren, age 2 and infant, plus 3 other adults at times. We enjoyed a walkable town and excursions throughout Tuscany. Lucia was top notch and made our two weeks extraordinary - she booked a private chef, a pizza night at the home pizza oven, suggested wineries and helped with some transportation needs. She was attentive to all our requests! It's a beautiful property with a lovely pool and home. Florence and Arezzo are an hour away but there are many places to explore. The house accomodated our large group. The beds were hard but we really enjoyed our stay and recommend.

Summary: We were a family group of 7 so had plenty of room. The standout was the lovely well-maintained pool with large surrounds for sun loungers. All in a large private garden. The house is basic but well equipped. The internet was intermittent. An evening breeze keeps the house cool despite the very hot temperatures when we were there. It's a windy scenic drive from Florence but a world away from the crowds with a lovely old square to walk to and enjoy morning coffee and pastry. An authentic experience. We had a great time at "Il Cucolo".

Summary: We had a great time in the house. It was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the nice pool area, the pizza oven and the amazing views from the different terraces. You will find everything you need in walking distance in Stia and can also enjoy the beautiful nature around. On top of that Lucia was a great host.

Summary: My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful villa.The villa provided an ideal setting for our extended family holiday, accommodating all of us with ease. The location of the villa was fantastic, nestled ijust the village of Stia that was just a pleasant walk away. We enjoyed the shops, bars, and restaurants in the area. The surroundings were undeniably beautiful, with picturesque views that made us feel truly immersed in the tranquility of the countryside. One of the standout features of the villa was its spaciousness, making it perfect for a large group. The house itself was well-designed and felt like a family home rather than a ‘beige’ holiday rental. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a large group. We particularly loved the brilliant pizza ovenand spinny outside dining table The kitchen equipment was impressive. We found everything from utensils to appliances, ensuring that cooking and dining at the villa were an absolute pleasure.
