Welcome to the Blue Ridge Mountains! This beautifully updated basement suite is perched atop a mountain, keeping you surrounded in nature. The mountain-to-sea trail runs along the driveway, putting you steps from the greatest views in the world. One king bed, a queen bed in a bedroom, a sofa bed, full bathroom and a large screen TV with kitchenette are sure to be a comfortable and clean oasis. The suite is an open design with one bedroom making it ideal for families and friends. This home borders the Blue Ridge Parkway, and you can go for a hike in almost any direction. Park right by your entrance!
The space is remodeled often, so it always feels updated. Our latest update was to build a bedroom and put the queen bed in its own space. The whole guest suite is entirely private. Our guests should feel most welcome to explore the land around them. We do have a 'treetop' deck near the suite's entrance that guests are also welcome to lounge on. We only ask that parents watch young ones around the treetop deck.
I like to give my guests privacy. We may never cross paths unless you want to! I am on-site and available to help 24/7. The neighborhood is fairly rural. Neighbors are quite spaced out with cow pastures in nearly every direction. Beautiful views year round!

Summary: Went up for our son’s 21st birthday. We all slept in the small but incredibly comfortable space. We lost power the next day, Jenna was so kind to bring us hot waffles before we lost power and extra snacks after we lost power. As the rain moved out, it was a beautiful view of the mountains! Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Summary: This was great for a weekend trip to a friend's wedding! A friend and I traveled together and we appreciated having 2 separate beds for a reasonable price. Although the basement area felt a bit damp, there was a dehumidifier and everything was clean and in good condition. The owner communicated all the necessary info in a timely manner. Great views and easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Summary: Clean,quiet, and easy to get to. We were in for just one night for my daughter's college orientation and this was just what we needed. Jenna and Ryan were very responsive and friendly. We will definitely look at booking again around move-in. P.S. If you have never stayed here before, the driveway is a little hard to see at night and is steep.

Summary: We had a wonderful time here. The kids loved the tree house and the adults loved the view. We just stayed one night for a quick trip to Tweetsie Railroad and this was the perfect lodging for us. The host was very quick to respond and so friendly.
