Ms. Bee Havin could easily host guests needing a more level entry. Main Floor one step, full bath with tub shower combo, bedroom with Queen (all linens provided) Living room, wood burning fireplace, dining room that sits 8. The kitchen is heavily stocked with everything you need to feed a large group including all your silverware, dishes, cutting boards, pots and pans, knives, cookie sheets, measuring cups and spoons, can opener, strainer, crock pot, blender, mixer, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, full size fridge with ice maker. Gas stove and dishwasher along with plenty of counterspace for all your cooking needs. Both a drip coffee maker and Keurig are provided. Propane grill.
Upper Level master with King bed in enclosed bedroom and new full Futon on loft area. Full bath with all new tiled shower. Wake up to the view of the mountains and your own private balcony! Lower level has closed off bedroom with barn doors, twin over full bunk beds. Full bath with step in shower, living room/TV area, foosball table and various board games etc. Efficiency kitchen in basement with small appliances and equipped with the basics.
House Amenities
Linens are provided along with one full roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towel in the kitchen. A small starter packet of laundry pods, dishwasher pods, hand soap, dish soap, sponge and some misc.
The Neighborhood - Powder Horn Mountain - Deep Gap, NC
Renters have access to the outdoor community pool during the summer months as well as miles of hiking trails, community clubhouse, fitness center, tennis court, campground, horseshoe pit, fishing, paddle boating, and more. The gated community of about 250 single family homes is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh. Cell phone signal is descent especially if you have Verizon but wifi calling is available. (check the settings on your phone) This house is the absolute getaway. Pets are ALLOWED for $50 per pet for the stay. Limited to no more than 2 and dogs only. You must make note of the fur babies when you make your reservation. Ms. Bee Havin is about 20 minutes to Boone, 45 mins to Banner Elk and Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. This is the perfect place to stay while going out to enjoy High County festivals, Fly Fishing, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Appalachian Trail, various wineries, breweries, and some App State Football! Shopping and local restaurants galore!
Driveway will only park two cars. Additional parking available at lot across from the clubhouse next to the silt pond called overflow parking. Please do not park on the street. Internet is Viasat which is satellite internet with a data cap. So please download those shows before you arrive! Closest grocery store is Food Lion top of Elk Creek Rd. Powder horn is about 45-50 mins to the ski slopes for all you snow bunnies. Like horses? Leatherwood is right around the corner and perfect for booking trail walks or sunset picnics! Just minutes to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, High County festivals, Fly Fishing, Blue Ridge Mountains, Appalachian Trail,Wineries, Breweries, App State Football! Shopping and local restaurants galore! Trash Pick up every Monday in metal bins in the ground. If you chose to recycle please take it with you! Wood for the fireplace can be ordered from manager or bring your own!

Summary: Perfect place for our family. We spent most of our time relaxing, playing games and cooking with some fun trips into nearby Boone. The teens loved their downstairs area and we enjoyed the peace and quiet above :)

Summary: I gathered with both of my daughters and their spouses for a fabulous Christmas celebration. The house was absolutely perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a delicious dinner and there was plenty of living and entertaining space. We absolutely loved it!

Summary: We had a nice stay at this lovely cabin - it had a fantastic view from the back deck of the mountains! The rocking chairs on the deck were very much enjoyed. The kitchen was fully appointed: one of the best that we have experienced. We very much enjoyed the outdoor seating area; along with the cooler mountain weather. Susan was great to work with, especially when we had a little plumbing issue. We really appreciated your prompt response.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay so much! The home was very clean and comfortable! The view was beautiful! We had everything we needed and enjoyed all the extra amenities this location had to offer. Our doggies enjoyed their stay as well, especially all the beautiful hikes Powder Horn has to offer. Wished we could have stayed longer!!

Summary: Loved the space and layout. Older kids had their own hang out space in the basement and tween girls really enjoyed the loft. Kitchen and basic supplies were well equipped. Parking is tight but we were able to fit two cars in the driveway. Host was attentive precheck in and responded quickly upon arrival when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We absolutely loved this property! It was perfect for 2 families with young kids. When I walked in I was surprised at how modern it was and so many windows. It’s a rarity that properties are even better than the pictures portray. Usually it’s the other way around. We loved it and hope to come back.
