Welcome to "Top of the World" - this spectacular home is what dreams are made of. Perched at the top of Gunstock Acres with breathtaking lake and mountain views, the custom home was built in 2021 and offers luxury living at its finest. The minute you make your way up the driveway, you'll know you've arrived!
The home is situated on 2 acres of land and offers two floors of living space. The upper floor gives you a great room with gourmet kitchen, dining for your whole group and living area with gas fireplace. The high ceiling and wall of glass make for breathtaking views. 4 sliders in this room will lead you to the massive deck where you can relax over a meal while wondering how you got so lucky as to find this gem. Be the envy of all your friends when you post your photos showcasing your vista overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee and the mountains beyond. The primary suite is on this floor as well as another bedroom with en suite. A powder room, TV room with comfy couches for relaxing with a movie after your day of fun and game room complete with pool table and dart board rounds off the upper level. Back down on the main level you will find two more bedrooms with their own baths and a laundry room. As you meander outside, you will gaze upon the heated salt-water pool and hot tub. This is where you will spend countless hours relaxing with a good book or jumping in to cool off on a hot summer’s day. In the evening you’ll relax in the hot tub while watching the sun set across the lake. Later, gather around the fire pit for your requisite s’mores and ghost stories or planning your next day’s adventures. Do you enjoy vacationing with others, yet need your own space? Just call dibs on the pool house which offers a loft (accessed by a ladder and with low head-clearance), sitting area, kitchenette and ¾ bath. The main house has 3300 square feet with the pool house giving you an additional 700 square feet.
This is a year- round get-away! Gunstock Mountain is just a short drive away for a day of skiing or snow tubing during the winter. The property owner has even thought of ski racks and boot warmers for your convenience. In the summer, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can ride the zip-line at Gunstock or enjoy the miles of hiking trails and adventure park. Ellacoya State Park is another short drive away if you’d like to take a swim in the lake on a hot day or have a waterside picnic. You can even pre-reserve your spot at the Ellacoya State Park beach up to 30 days in advance. Please note that Gunstock Acres is a private HOA and use of the Gunstock Acres amenities, including Gunstock Acres beach, docks, waterfront, play areas, basketball and tennis courts and boat launch are NOT available for guest use. If you'd like to get out on Lake Winnipesaukee, there are several local marinas nearby where you can rent a boat and depart directly from the marina!
LINENS: Please note, sheets/arrival bed making plus bath and beach towels are INCLUDED with this rental!!!
*PLEASE NOTE*: The pool/hot tub and pool house are only included from June 14, 2025 - September 12, 2025. In the fall/winter/spring season, the property is limited to groups of 10 or less and the pool/hot tub and pool house are not included or available for guest use.
PLEASE NOTE: FROM NOVEMBER FIRST THROUGH MAY, ALL BOOKINGS OVER HOLIDAYS AND SCHOOL VACATION WEEKS MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 7 NIGHTS.
A small dog (20 pounds or less) may be allowed, depending on the size and breed, with a $300 pet fee. Please ask about bringing your dog at the time of booking. Dogs are strictly not allowed in the pool or hot tub.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I think the house was great and location was good. Only issues were the cleaning prior to arrival. I think one person cleaning that entire house is not adequate and the renter losses all of Saturday so really a 6 day rental. Only other issues were NH Fire denied my fire pit application on the first day. Said property not authorized for renter to apply. Finally got approval after I sent info back and forth but got approval on Friday afternoon of my last day. so Basically useless. The hot tub would not stay in spa mode. it would drain and empty over the next 30/35 minutes after setting spa mode. frustrating. The owner said he knows it was broken. Heating the pool and getting the spa to work was extremely frustrating and problematic. Other than that it was a great house and the view was spectacular. At the Lakes is one of my favorite companies to go through for rentals. Thank You!! Dan

The ever present view of the lake cannot be beat and the house and outside spaces are laid out to take advantage of it. It will take your breath away. The pictures - while extraordinary - don’t do it justice. Even on rainy days watching the weather roll in was a joy. The house is newly renovated and in mint condition. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a rental that was this well maintained. The kitchen and living room connect to a generous deck with views and breezes that make it comfortable even in the mid day sun. Highly recommend yoga out there. The pool and hot tub are perfect. The pool is especially well laid out for small children with generous wading areas and a huge box of pool toys and floats (one of many considerate small touches). The pool house affords a ton of extra privacy. The fire pit has perhaps the best view of all and is really well considered and laid out. We only needed a couple small things from the managers but they were super responsive. Book with confidence this is an amazing spot.

The House and Pool House are very new, very clean, well furnished and comfortable for our group of 9. The pool and hot tub were well-designed for us, although I would caution that the pool has a relatively small shallow end so that families with young children who are not good swimmers will have to be alert. (The pool is completely fenced except for the entrance from the pool house.). All of the people at At The Lake Vacation Rentals were friendly, competent and helpful. We enjoyed taking the mail boat tour of the lake and a trip to Gunstock ski resort.

The house appears new, was clean, and very comfortable.Property is only minutes from Gunstock Adventure Center, but a 15 minutes or a little more drive to most restaurants, stores, or lake shore; but the VIEW is better than you can imagine and the pool is great.

The rooms are very large and the kitchen is stocked with every appliance and gadget you could possibly need. Our party of 10 used the huge pool and spa almost every day.Being heated , the water temperature was always perfect. No need to bring pool toys.. We loved enjoying the rockers on the deck to view the amazing view. Gunstock Mountain is very close by where zip line and coaster were so much fun. Many little towns to shop and explore. If you want a vacation home of pure luxury, this is the one!
