Anchorage Aweigh is an exquisite two bedroom villa overlooking Coral Bay harbor. The villa boasts a centrally located pool and large pool deck with picturesque views of Coral Bay, St John.
From the living room, the pool and lower bedroom are accessed through an indoor set of stairs.
A/C: provided in the bedrooms only

Coral Bay is located on the quiet, mellow side of St. John. A 2-minute drive down the hill will bring you to a variety of shopping, restaurant and entertainment options. Beaches and the National Park hiking trails can all be found a short distance away.
Adjacent to the main house, yet completely separate, is a cottage. It is a one-bedroom unit where the owners stays, just a few weeks out of the year. The main house and cottage were designed with privacy in mind. As you can see in the photographs, both houses face in different directions.
**When booking- rates are based on how many guests you have. If you have two people, you will have access to the top floor bedroom. Three or four people will give you access to the 2nd bedroom. If your occupancy is "2," the lower level bedroom will be locked during your stay. If the second bedroom is required for two people, additional rates apply.

Summary: We had a terrific stay. It was perfect for my husband and daughter. The drive up to the house takes skill, but you get used to it. So cool seeing goats and chickens around. The description of the listing is very accurate and the Emma the host was very responsive. Skinny Legs, scraggy and Johnny lime very close by.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and had fantastic weather throughout the week! Our group of four adults had very comfortable sleeping arrangements - both bedrooms had brand new king size beds and linens! Good communication from owners and property management company to ensure our checkin and checkout went smoothly. We arrived later in evening and received texts to ensure we got in ok. We became very good at getting up and down the steep driveway during the week. Strongly recommend four wheel drive vehicle to get around all of St John’s.

Summary: This villa is wonderful. Two floors with separate bedrooms and bathrooms with outdoor shower just like the photos. The drive is trecherous to the villa and the driveway is steep and difficult to find. Even a piece of reflective tape or breadcrumbs would have been helpful. The property manager was in transition and insisted droppping a pin would take us to the villa, but you need cell reception for that to work. We thought we would be met and shown where to go. It was dark and no lighting along the last 4 turns. It took us several days to remember the trees and landmarks to get to the villa consistently,. The property itself is fabulous and the view is wonderful. In hindsight, I would rent closer to Cruz Bay in the future, thats where all the action is.

Summary: House was perfect for 4 people. Great views from the patio. Host was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. Will stay again.Make sure you rented a real 4x4 to get to the property.

Summary: Such a great place to rent for a week. We rented Oct 26, 2024 - Nov 1, 2024. Rented a car from St Thomas, took the ferry over to St John. We had an unusual week of esrain and still had a great time. The view over Coral Bay beats any restaurant view, so we utilized the kitchen all week except for 3-4 times. Highly recommended!!!💕

Summary: Great house! Just high enough on the hill to have privacy and a great view. It was nice to have the two bedrooms separated. The pool is fantastic - the entire thing was about 5 feet deep. Plantings and umbrella were placed so there was almost always some bit of shade for those of us who burn easily. All items related to the house were as described in the listing and everything was clean and neat. Convenient to town. Loved it and would definitely stay here again! Potential guests should note that there are inside stairs down to the pool level, and we would definitely recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate up to the house.
