Summary: My family (total of 4 of us) and I chose this property because of its proximity to Camp Foster. It is also close to American Village. It is a bit noisy from the street traffic but other than that, it was clean and has nice ocean views from the large deck. The owner was communicative and responds quickly. Easy check-in and check-out.

Summary: My husband and I visited our son at his first duty station since joining the Marines and rented this apartment recently for two weeks, and we were so relaxed here and truly enjoyed having breakfast and hanging outside on the huge deck and kitchen table,and spending the day with him visiting the Island. (My husband was stationed at Camp Schwab in the early 1980's so he was especially interested in the changes he saw to Okinawa.) There is a washing machine, but no dryer, but we were able to hang our clothing outside to dry. It's on the fifth floor with a lovely ocean breeze. The restaurant across the street Adachiya (turn left leaving the apt. and it is to the left of the building right across the street) is wonderful. Small, friendly, inexpensive and delicious. Also we loved Bistrot Lierre Blanc II for fabulous meals and very good wine. Hailing a cab can be tricky as the apt. is located on a very busy street though it does have a good parking lot. We hailed a cab in front of Adachiya and twice the staff helped us hail it even though one night, we weren't eating there. We also had the cab drop us off on the street the restaurant was on and walked the few feet to the apt.

Summary: This was a wonderful VRBO for such a reasonable price. It was clean and had lots of extra touches (such as slippers, umbrellas, beach towels, paper products). The owner was very communicative and helpful. The property is very close to Camp Foster (USMC military base) and is on route 58, so sometimes in the evenings you can hear loud motorcycles. The lanai is surprisingly huge and has a great view of the ocean. Be sure not to rent a vehicle that is tall (like a van) so that you are able to fit under the building in the parking spot!

Summary: This home was our favorite of our entire Japan stay! This place was clean, cozy, and very much spacious with a huge lanai, for 5 adults. It was a less than 10 minute walk to 7-11 and Lawson. We did need to Uber to many places (American Village (highly recommend, lots of eateries and shops!) Naha Airport, etc) we could walk to American village but expect about a 45 minute walk. Area was in a peaceful area however a little on the louder side with all the construction but only during the day which wasn't too bad. Highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Okinawa!
