Summary: It was quiet and quaint. The thermostat was going haywire but we tolerated it. )I brought an extra blanket. ) There was a fly problem going on as well. The guest kept the door closed that lead to the kitchen and rooms which helped a lot. I would stay again if I was visiting less than a week again.

Summary: Description of room mentioned king bed and living room. Did not realize room was so small it could not accommodate a chair. No soap or shampoo provided either. Living room was communal. Would like a hotel saying they had living room, when all they had is a Libby. Would not stay there again

Summary: This is a quaint little inn. All wood floors. The room we had was tiny. Much smaller than the picture implies. I wouldn’t say here again for that reason. Management was quick in responding to our issues with the heat being off in our room and got it fixed quickly. Within walking distance of everything. Everyone was really nice. Have never done a shared space when using VRBO and won’t again if I can help it. I just like my own space. That’s why I do VRBO. But for the price it was good. Thank you!

Summary: Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Bowery property. It is an old building so be sure to read the property description to make sure it is a good fit for you. The location is great...walking distance to shopping and restaurants in Apalachicola. As far as communication with mgmt/housekeeping, I was not overly impressed. The trash cans in the common area were full the first few days I was here and I had to call to bring attention to that. When housekeeping did come in, they weren't friendly at all. Couldn't even say hello. I would stay here again but would probably keep it short.
