It is located less than five miles from Stockbridge and Great Barrington town centers, and ten miles drive from Lenox and Tanglewood.

Summary: This was a beautifully appointed property on an estate overlooking a pond. The apartment was spotless and the caretaker was most helpful when we needed anything. The rooms were well supplied and perfect for us. Thank you for letting us experience the quintessence of the Berkshires.

Summary: This is a two-room apartment separated by a hallway. There was a small window air conditioner in the bedroom and in the living room. It was hot most of the days of my visit, and on arrival only the living room unit was on. It took 2 full days and nights at max operation to cool down the apartment, and the noise, especially at night, was like sleeping in a cheap airport hotel. Bathroom had NO counter space for toiletries. The closet reeked of whatever the people in the unit on the other side of the wall were cooking. i had to move all my clothes out of the closet so they wouldn't stink. EVERY DAY I killed multiple hornets in the living room window. I called the owner and the property manager showed up two days later. I left the following morning.

Summary: Convenient and beautiful location for not so beautiful building. Contrary to misleading pics there is no place to hang outside and enjoy the surroundings. The wall of interesting books will keep you occupied if forced to spend time on site. Good choice for short stay exploring the area. Creatively renovated interior with barn siding and "hidden" kitchen.

Summary: Fabulous location near Great Barrington. Building is shared with caretaker so there can be some minimal noise similar to an apartment.

Summary: Beautiful setting, rustic property yet with modern conveniences and very clean. I would definitely considering stay at this apartment again.

Summary: The location of this property is wonderful - far enough away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to get to any neighboring towns and main thoroughfares easily. I felt comfortable in the space and looked forward to returning at the end of each day. The property itself is beautiful and well cared for. The staff who oversees the property was welcoming, friendly and attentive and responded immediately to any questions or needs. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Everything you could want for a nice quiet stay. The apt is very roomy and well appointed. Small kitchen with all you need. Messages to the owner were answered promptly. The grounds are incredibly beautiful. No reason not to stay here.

Summary: I'm never staying anywhere else again when I come to the Berkshires for Tanglewood, etc. The apartment was immaculate and well-equipped, and it's elegant and cozy at the same time. The property is so gorgeous that even the lovely photos don't do it justice. It's pin-drop quiet yet a short drive from both downtown GB and Beartown State Park. A magical place!

Summary: This charmingly renovated stable, is advertised as being on a 50 acre farm. Truth is, it sits on a baronial estate, complete with hilltop Manor, house, orchards, pond and large greenhouse filled with flowers for the well manicured grounds. Our most lasting memory was sipping wine while sitting in, the Adirondack chairs overlooking the pond and watching swallows swoop down for their evening meal of floating insects.
