Summary: The apartment was everything described and more - the amazing terrace, the smell of herbs and the peaceful ambience. The terrace was a great place to spend an afternoon, with an evening cooking on the plancha. And the subtle lighting transformed the terrace into somewhere magical at night. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and we have no hesitation in highly recommending the apartment. We also recommend a visit to L'ile d'Aix, Ile de Re, Chatelaillon Plage and The Bunker. Our 5th visit to La Rochelle in 2 years and we are still discovering new places. This apartment is definitely on our "return to" list. Merci Beaucoup! Marie and John Hunter

Summary: The property is a clean comfortable apartment in the heart of La Rochelle in a quiet area next to a park and complete with a large terrace for a very nice relax. The town , local beach and old port with all its good restaurants and places of interest are very much in walking distance. Forget the car! The climate was perfect for our stay also

Summary: Stylish apartment with large well equipped terrace in excellent location in old town convenient to seafront.Neighbourhood very quiet. No parking but we were able ,through Onepark,to book a space in the nearby Novotel for โ‚ฌ38 for two weeks.Owners very helpful and friendly. Paul Millar

Summary: We loved the property. It was very clean comfortable with a large terrace.The location was great to get around La Rochelle with it being only a five minute walk to the restaurants shops and bars. La Rochelle was a great place to explore.

Summary: We enjoyed a fabulous fortnight at Guillaume's studio. It was perfect for our needs and had all the facilities we wanted. Guillaume's parents were most welcoming and made sure that we were happy with everything. The terrace gets the sun all day long and is a great place to relax. The studio is located in the old town which is full of charm, especially the area around the market. We loved having the use of the bikes which really allowed us to see a lot of La Rochelle; having parked the car in the free car park behind the studio we did not use it again for two weeks. The walk through the park and the promenade by the beach are also recommended; especially to check out the sunset. The bus to Ile de Re is also a must.

Summary: Beautiful La Rochelle with a beautiful apartment to match. What a wonderful holiday. We could not have asked for anything more. When arriving at the apartment the owner's parents greeted us and showed us around the apartment as well as making sure that we had somewhere secure to park the motorcycle. They were superb!! The apartment was perfect and it had everything we needed and the large private terrace is such a delightful place to sit and relax with a glass of wine on an evening and mouth watering fresh seafood bought from the market that morning and cooked on the Planche. The apartment is close to the centre but yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. La Rochelle comes to life on an evening and it's a great place to sit and relax in one of the many restaurants and watch the world go by. There is plenty to do during the day with many boat trips on offer and plenty of walks as well as visiting the surrounding area. We can't wait to go back!
