Welcome to the Contrada San Domenico, charming residence in Mantua, with walls, ceilings and doors decorated with frescoes and paintings from the 17th century. The apartment is on the first floor without elevator of a historic building, built around 1650, in one of the most elegant streets of the center of Mantua, just a few steps from the main attractions that have made Mantua famous in the world. The apartment, 180 square meters, whose renovation ended in July, consists of two bedrooms (one with his private smaller living room, with TV), two bathrooms, both with shower, a designer kitchen with appliances of the best German brands. The larger living room has comfortable sofas for up to eight people (one of the sofas is a sofa bed). The living room and the larger bedroom are equipped with a stereo. The apartment is equipped with bed, bath and kitchen linens, crockery and cutlery, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. A covered and guarded parking is located just a few meters from the apartment. We have fallen in love with the Contrada San Domenico, whose beauty has been gradually restored thanks to the careful restoration of three experienced restorers, without whose help the frescoes, which today bear witness to art, history and beauty, would still be hidden. One of the bedrooms (the smaller one) still requires restoration of the frescoes, and is closed until mid-December. We inform our guests that the staircase will be renovated in January 2019 because of the upcoming elevator installation. Check in: from 15:00 to 20:00. Check out no later than 10.00 am on Monday, on the other days flexible, depending on the arrangement.
