Summary: Everything went perfectly well as planned. Please inform next tourists that the Vicolo Chodare is very, very narrow with a big car ! Don't drive to the end, there is no exit ! Armando Bertoni.

Summary: Appartement is much nicer than the Vrbo pictures. It’s renovated and was functional for us a family of 5. We had no problem with sleeping and cooking while there. The property manager was helpful and always available via WhatsApp. For travellers with cars, beware that there are no parking at the apartment. Public parking is located about 10-15 min from the appartement and cost 12 e per day. My two recommendations would be that the air conditioning units are very old. It took about two hours for them to cool the unit down to be comfortable. It would have been appreciated if they had been turned on prior to our arrival time to start cooling. My second recommendation is to have better wifi internet. The property manager told us that it was limited to emails and light browsing. With a family of 5 (with 3 teenagers), wifi is important and needed for us to plan our travel and communicate. It turned off unexpectedly the days before we left. Besides those two points, I would recommend this apartment.

Summary: We enjoyed our 4 nights at this location, despite the heatwave at the time. The air conditioning worked well, but we managed to not use it a lot. The home is on a quiet street, a nice 10 minute walk from the town centre. The house is close to the train station (but far enough away we near heard the trains) and the cycle paths that ring the city. The kitchen is well equiped, our family of 6 did all our own cooking. It was a five minute walk to grocery stores. We'd love to come back with cooler temperatues to do all the things we missed in Mantova!

Summary: We stayed here for a week. Very good location - easy walking distance to all the obvious sights. Comfortable beds, plenty of space. The photos do not show that the house is actually located in an enclosed courtyard directly next to the entrance to the underground garage. The wifi was very inconsistent for us - luckily we also had a phone with data that we could use.

Summary: "If you''re looking for a place to stay in Mantova, don''t look any further. We stayed here for two weeks with two small children (3 & 0), and would have loved to extend our visit. Mantova is a very nice place, and we surely will return one day."

Summary: "Beautiful town house situated 5 minutes or less from train station and 5 mintues from town centre. Orsolas house was very clean and had a great feeling of home from home, it was very comfortable and secure -many thanks again for a lovely stay in Mantova."

Summary: "This is a very good place to stay in Mantova. It is spotlessly clean, close to the center of town, and with two bedrooms spacious enough for a couple or family. One enters from a small patio garden into the well-furnised sitting room, with two sofas and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen, washing machine, and small bathroom are on this level. You normally eat at the table in the kitchen, although this can be moved to the sitting room and expanded for larger groups. The two bedrooms (one with a large double bed that is two singles joined together and the other with three singles) and the bathroom with hand-held shower over the bath are on the second level. There is good linen and a closet in the larger bedroom. The owner's hospitality and helpfulness set this house apart from others. Two examples: One: Orsola and a friend of hers arranged to cook dinner for us one of the nights we were there. After taking us to a near-by town to see some sights, she and the friend prepared a delicious Mantova meal, which we all enjoyed with some local wine. Two: I stupidly left my passport behind when we left. I called Orsola from our next stop, some three hours away. She went to Mantova, found the passport, and had it expressed to our hotel. So, if you seek a home-away-from-home rather than a hotel room, I recommend that you stay here."

Summary: "We enjoyed the stay in the house very much. It is comfortable and beautiful, you find everything you need: in the kitchen as well as in the bathrooms and in the living room (there even are different music records for the stereo set). Very good air condition! Lovely terrace. The house is situated in a calm little street close to the magnificent historical town center. We would have liked to stay much longer - especially since the owner of the house is really friendly!"
