From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family, but the two things that truly set this place apart are its unbeatable location and the incredible hospitality of the staff. The hotel is just a few steps away from Playa La Madera and a 10 minute cab drive to Playa La Ropa. We loved being able to wake up and walk to the beach for a morning swim in less than a minute. It's also perfectly situated to enjoy the fantastic local restaurants along the beach and in the neighborhood. While it feels like a peaceful, secluded paradise, it's also just a quick and easy taxi ride or walk along the coast into the heart of El Centro for more shopping and dining. It’s the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Most importantly every single person that works there went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special. Their warmth and genuine kindness are the heart of this hotel. From the front desk offering great local recommendations to the housekeeping staff who kept our suite immaculate, everyone greeted us with a smile. They make you feel genuinely cared for, not just like another guest. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and perfectly located hotel with a staff that makes you feel right at home, you can’t do better than Arena Suites. Positive: I absolutely loved staying at the hotel with its stunning ocean view! It was just a few steps away from the sandy beach, making it so easy to enjoy those sun-soaked days by the water. Plus, the nearby pier was perfect for leisurely strolls, and there were plenty of delicious food options and restaurants right around the corner. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise!

Positive: I loved the peace the area provided. Zihuatanejo is extra quiet compared to Ixtapa.

Negative: The outlets in the room need to be changed so they can hold the chargers; the TV needs to be replaced, we were not able to watch anything because either the controls didn't work or the TV wouldn't respond. Also, a better check out experience (faster) would be great. My sister had to run back to get the towels in our room so we could speed up the process.

Negative: The lights on the stairway were so bright that they made it difficult to sleep. They could have used lower wattage bulbs that would have maintained security yet be less intrusive.
