The majestic entrance with opposite ramps reaches the first and only floor of the entire villa. Frescoed rooms lead one onto another with decor that follows the historical vibe of the whole place. In summer you will find cool areas to relax in the garden and by the charming private pool with columns of classic taste. In winter a glass house in the backyard is a perfect winter garden.
Villa Voces is situated between the villages of Piedimonte Etnea and Fiumefreddo. In both villages you can find shops, restaurants, grocery stores and small supermarkets. In Piedimonte Etneo you will find one of the stations of the CircumEtnea, an old train line that takes you around the Etna. At Fiumefreddo you will find km of pebbled beaches. If you prefer sandy beaches you can go to Giardini Naxos and combine it with a visit of the beautiful town of Taormina with its ancient theater.

Summary: Villa Voces is an authentic Sicilian villa. You have a wonderful view of Mount Etna, we were lucky enough to see a slight eruption, it was spectacular! The kitchen is fully equipped. It was immaculately clean as was the bedding & towels. The pool area was great for sitting & drink coffee & wine… lots of it from Lidl which is only down the road! The villa is on an exceptionally busy road & you can not walk anywhere so you definitely need a car. The air con is also very loud but kind of lulls you to sleep! Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Summary: Good Location but on a busy road. Met by Victor and Marinella at the property who showed us around and also made us welcome with some basic essentials to start our stay. They are both happy to help with any queries. Property well maintained and the gardener ensures that the pool and gardens are kept clean and tidy. Unless you are up very early you are not likely to see him. Only one suggestion is that the property requires a medium size cooking pan. If parking use the road along side the property and walk across the small footbridge, it's a lot easier than parking at the property. If you want to go out for a meal, a good value local restaurant is in Piedimonte Etneo Ristorante Pizzeria Da Gianluca. For a more upmarket restaurant try Al Saraceno in Castelmola. Better to drive there rather than walk the 543 steps up from Taormina.

Summary: The villa was amazing, beautiful with picture opportunities around every corner. We had everything we needed and the hosts were brilliant and very friendly. I would highly recommend it.

Summary: Beautiful house with a spectacular view. The landlords were very nice although they didn’t speak much English. The pool is cleaned every other day, which is great. Taormina is a 20 minute drive away and Naxos Beach with beaches and restaurants is 10 minutes away. Unfortunately there’s a road just in front of the house which is very noisy during both night and day and the a/c in three of the bedrooms were internal and therefore quite noisy as well. There are some kitchen appliances lacking that I (at the price) would expect to be there and the sun umbrellas were all broken because of too small bases. Besides this we loved our week in the house.

Summary: Our friendship group had an incredible week in Piedimont Etneo, and would highly recommend this house to a group or family. The house feels newly renovated, with a very modern kitchen and bathrooms. Although there was a heatwave during our time, the house remained cool and comfortable, with air conditioning in all rooms, and a great pool. There are plenty of different dining and entertaining areas within the property. It should be known that you will not be able to walk to any bars or restaurants, but there are towns 3 minutes drive to the North and South, with a large Lidl very close by. There’s also an empty lot next to the house which makes parking cars extremely easy! We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Villa Voces for many reasons. The pool was beautiful and we swam every day until the weather cooled at the end of the month. There were enough bedrooms (4) for guests to visit. The kitchen and other exterior spaces gave everyone room to spread out. A few of the downsides: you must rent a car if you stay here. There is no public transportation or even nearby village. It is on a very busy road that motorcycles like to use as a motorway. It can be loud, day and night. The driveway entrance is a bit hazardous and could use repair. Finally, there is an issue with the hot water in the shower periodically shutting off. Despite these issues it was still a nice place to stay, albeit a little expensive considering the issues
