The villa is situated at the foot of the Etna Volcano, surrounded by a 3000 sqm orchard , and has two communicating terraces on two levels whose view embraces Taormina, the Mediterranean Sea and the southernmost coast of continental Italy. The House is home of an historical wine mill transformed into a Holiday House and a wellness area with private Mini Spa was recently created on the second terrace to offer guests relaxation in a quite and elegant environment. The House , total surface 100 sqm , is composed by a large living room , a sleeping loft with a l double bed and a large sofa bed. , a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and water/bidet. The sleeping areas in the loft are communicating with each other . The upper one has a large double bed while the second one has a sofa bed for two people. The heating system is centralized and cconditioner is available with exception of the kitchen. The terraces are on two levels comunicanti . The first 100 sq.mt consists of a patio, barbecue corner and relax area. In the second level, a mini spa pool installed in a flowered and panoramic solarium gives the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable vacation. The whirlpool with ergonomic seats makes your spa experience truly satisfying and the cromotherapy lighting increase the well-being of our guests . On request supply hot water in the whirlpool. As for couples with children we woukd like to point out that a crib is available for children up to 2 years of age and their stay is free of charge, while for children up to 12 years of age the cost is 20 E/night, payable on the spot . The property’s location is an excellent starting point for excursions to the areas of greatest naturalistic and cultural interest. First of all Etna Volcano the largest in Europa included in the UNESCO World Heritage list . From the mountain to the sea: These coasts are among the most beautiful of the Island , full of cliffs and bays. At few km Taormina and Giardini Naxos famous for their naturalistic beauties are also culture with their archeological settlements. In addition , by the near highway is possible easily visit other interesting luoghi like Siracusa, Noto for art lovers and ….. At the end if you like food and good wine this is the right place. Summary: The property is dripping with charm inside and out. The views are magnificent and the hot tub is an added treat. The owners are very involved and helpful. There is a lot of attention to detail. The location was ideal to tour this side of Sicily .

Summary: Clean, comfortable beads, working A/C when needed, affordable rental with wonderful views of Sicily’s East Coast, and Calabria. The Sunrise was breathtaking. Loved the history of the house. We are a family of 3, stayed 6 nights during the hot summer, but it did not feel that hot, the weather is nicer staying up in the mountain, and surrounded by olive trees, grapes, and silence. We loved looking at the stars at night while enjoying the hot tub. We cooked every day, grocery store not far with everything we needed, very reasonable prices. Owner Aldo was kind and welcoming, always fast to respond and help. Our best meal out was Brick Oven Pizza for dinner at Bar Caffe Nuovo in the town of Gaggi, recommended!! Thank you so much Aldo and Rosa!

Summary: A lovely very classic country home built on the side of a hill with a sumptuous view of the Sea dine surrounded by the old wine press and take in the sunrises and sunsets from the spacious veranda. The hosts are lovely and came to meet us personally. We are grateful Aldo and Rosy are so generous to share this lovely place with Vrbo guests. Don’t miss this one!

Summary: The peacefulness and authentic character of the house were amazing! Aldo had to come meet us when we got lost trying to find it but he and Rosy were so helpful and even made us a dinner reservation nearby. It was so good we went back the next night! So much to see in Sicily and this location is a good balance for distance to those sites. Thanks!

Summary: This is a fantastic property. It has so much character, just like Rosa and Aldo who drove from Catania to welcome us. They could not have been kinder. They settled us in then showed us round the local town. The old wine mill is very open plan. Apart from the door on the bathroom I don't think there are any other doors. We loved sleeping up in the loft. The bed was very comfortable. It was warm in June, even though there was a fan, so in the height of summer it would be hot. The kitchen is very well equipped. Best of all is the outdoor terrace with views out to Taormina. We would thoroughly recommend it as a beautiful place to stay.

Summary: My family and I have spent 10 days at Rosy's place. It is a beautiful house: cozy, warm, very well equipped, nice decoration and a superb terrace that offers a splendid landscape. We just couldn't expect for nothing more. We went to spend peaceful and relaxing days and that is what we got, so we just can say: Thank you SOOOO MUCH Rosy for this lovely place you and Aldo have created and for your interest, from the very first moment, we made the reservation. Rosy and Aldo are 5 stars hosts and there place could not be anything less. We highly recomed it to everyone.

Summary: Last week, my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Rosy's home near Mt. Etna. Just getting there was an adventure, but she personally guided us by meeting us at a place we could locate, then led us the rest of the way up and up the mountain. We were delighted by the care and comfort provided to us in this home. We loved all the decorations, thought it was very comfortable, enjoyed the peace and quiet and the splendid view and sunrise we got to experience. The location was convenient to touring the Mt. Etna area and Taormina. I would highly recommend Rosy's place for anyone who wants to escape from it all in Sicily, have a unique experience that isn't "touristy", stay in a charming home and have a vacation not to be forgotten.
