Summary: Everything about our stay was great! Lots of room, everything we needed. The fire pit was perfect for a relaxing fire at the end of the day. Awesome location for access to beaches on Lake Superior and the bay, downtown Grand Marais and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Definitely would stay here again!

Summary: It was a perfect central location for us to explore the Pictured Rocks/Lake Superior area ! Aspen house was exceptionally clean, quiet, light and airy and had everything we needed for our brief "mid-trip of the UP" stay, allowing us to recharge and relax. I very much appreciated having a washer and dryer ! Be sure you visit the Grand Marais beach and the working lighthouse in the evening and grab a meal at Lake Superior Brewing Co. ! Thank you again Leslie for having your cottage available for adventurers like us !

Summary: property was nice. we had two truck / trailers. there was enough parking for that, but not much more. trail was not to far through town.

Summary: Property was a great location. Grand Marais is on the north-east end of Pictured Rocks. There are several hiking trails on this end of the National Lakeshore. The small town was a great place to walk, eat, get ice-cream, and sit at the beach. Beautiful location. The property was a perfect fit for us (bring coffee filters - glad we had some along).
