Nestled behind the main street of the beautiful harbor town of Grand Marais, you will find the Campbell Cottage, a clean, well-equipped, comfortable two bedroom cottage. Perfect getaway and launching pad for exploring the beautiful Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore, Au Sable Lake and Falls, the Dunes and the unique, ever-changing Lake Superior coastline.
In your home away from home you will find two private bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full. There is also a spare blow up or comfortable cot available for any extra guests. Nice bathroom with shower/tub. Fully equipped kitchen as well as large backyard with charcoal grill and patio table. Ideal for 2 to 4. Great location for walking access to everything in town, the beach. just about anything you want your vacation to be. Summary: The property is comfortably furnished and squeaky clean. Charlotte was an excellent communicator and host. Rules and stay instructions are clearly written and easy to understand. The Grand Marais area was a little busy but easy to get around. Restaurants are all good and people seem quite friendly and laid back. Will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit.

Summary: So clean and cozy and a good central location to many sight seeing spots! Lovely little town. Quiet and relaxing. Cute and delicious coffee shop around the corner. Would for sure stay here again and will encourage friends and family to visit. Thank you for hosting us!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! This cottage was cozy, quiet and very clean. We had everything we needed and communication was great. Perfect place to relax after hiking or beach combing! We hope to return!

Summary: Cozy house that is just as described. Great location within walking distance to everything in town, including beach. Grand Marais is very small. There are several pubs that serve food. Limited groceries are available at convenience stores. We would return.

Summary: The cottage was clean and well stocked with everything one could possibly need. It is within a short walking distance of the downtown area where there are a few various stores and restaurants. It is also very close to the magificent Lake Superior beach. The cottage owner was very easy to communicate with and check in was easy. We highly recommend this property!

Summary: Charlotte's place is a 2 block walk to the boardwalk and shore. I could walk up there at any hour of the day or night. (And did!) Wifi was excellent. My phone and computer automatically signed on, remembering the password from my previous visit. I felt so welcome! The entire place was very clean. There were nice towels and plenty of kitchen linens. The recliner was a comfy reading place on the day it rained. I had stayed at Charlotte's place before. On this trip, I planned my dates around when this place was available. I'd do that again.

Summary: The cottage is cute and homey. It is well stocked with everything you need and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops in town but very quiet and peaceful. It was also just a short drive to other points of interest in the area. I would highly recommend the Campbell Cottage.
