The Villa is located in the heart of Umbria, just a few kilometres from the region's main cities of art. It stands on the gentle hills overlooking Assisi, Spello and Perugia, in the middle of an olive grove carefully and respectfully maintained by the owner. In the large garden there is also a swimming pool (open from the beginning of May to the end of September; it measures 9 m x 5 m with a water height of 1.2 m). This house is particularly suitable for those who like to isolate themselves in total privacy without giving up the incomparable view. In fact, from the house it is possible to see some of Umbria's beautiful historic centres, starting with Bettona, a small medieval town (of Etruscan origin) that can easily be reached on foot. Of particular note is the central position with respect to the region's cities of art, all of which can be reached by car in between 10 and 45 minutes.
The Villa consists of 3 completely independent portions, 2 for rent (the Large Apartment and the Attic-Mansard) and 1 for use by the owners. Summary: Our three week stay in Renato’s flat was absolutely perfect. The apartment was fresh, clean, tastefully decorated, and had magnificent vistas from every window. The bed was large and super comfy. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the outdoor grill. The gardens were immaculate. And the views! Assisi to one side, Spello to the other, and beautiful Bettona at sunset — breathtaking! Renato was a stellar host, so kind and helpful. We can’t recommend this property enough!

Summary: "Me and my family really enjoyed our staying in La Casa della Ginestra! We were lucky with the weather, which was beatiful during our stay in May. The view from the pool is gorgeous and surrounding area is full of beatiful small villages and other places to see as well. You can find excellent supermarket in Collestrada, some 15 km from the property. There is no big supermarkets closer than that. All in all, this property is really recommendable as it stands on the hillside and has really beautiful views towards Bettona, Assisi and Perugia. Extra thanks to Renato and her daughter Camilla who made our stay really "homelidays" :) "
