Nice big villa in a quiet neighborhood, dead end street with 2 levels. This villa is furbished as for a permanent house and therefor gives you a 'being at home' feeling. Full privacy, no sight of neighbors. 4 km from Calpe, 7 km from Moraira and 23 km from Benidorm. At 70 km from Alicante airport, 117 km from Valencia. Beautiful old towns nearby: Javea, Altea, Denia, beautiful nature inland. Supermarkets (Mas y Mas. Pepe la Sal, Aldi, Lidl, Carrefour, ...), shops, restaurants nearby. 1 km from beach.

In the living room is a fireplace.
The naya can be fully opened by large windows, with views of the tropical garden and the swimming pool and mountains. The naya (Spanish for covered terrace) also has a large long wooden dining table with six chairs. The house is surrounded by an open terrace, overlooking the swimming pool and garden. They can also be covered with sun sails.
Downstairs there are three large bedrooms. Two bedrooms each have a large double bed and AC. A third bedroom has 2 single beds next to each other and a ceiling fan. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, each with its own toilet. Two bathrooms have washbasins and showers, Master Bedroom has 2 wash basins, shower and large tub. Each bedroom is also provided with large dressings. Two bedrooms are also equipped with a lounge with table and chairs. The bedroom windows can be closed by shutters. Windows are also fitted with mosquito screens.
There is a washing machine available in a separate laundry room. In the wooden chalet you can dry the laundry.
There is a large wooden garden house in the garden that contain loungers and chairs and tables and possible storage space. Also there are 3 laundry lines where you can dry the laundry.
There is an outside barbecue. Around the house and in the garden there are several terraces where you can sit or eat. Near the swimming pool there is also an arbor with a large dining table that can be covered completely by a sail.
The house is perfectly insulated with double windows and very thick walls. That's why it's very cool. If necessary, AC and ceiling fans can be used. They are provided in most areas. In addition, multiple windows can be closed by shutters. Curtains are also available.
Every week the poolman comes to maintain the pool. The garden is also maintained on a weekly basis by a professional.
Downholstery and pillowcases and towels are provided. If you want refreshment of sheets and towels and extra cleaning during your stay, this may be subject to a surcharge. If you prefer, you can use the washing machine
The villa can be fully enclosed with a metal garage door. There are 3 car parking spaces behind the garage door. Because the villa is located in a dead end street, you are absolutely not affected by car traffic. Also few neighbors in the area. Absolutely no view in the garden and house, so complete privacy!
For people who come in winter, in the living room is a fireplace and in all areas is central heating on gas.

Summary: We had a great stay at this lovely villa. The photos on the website truly reflect the Villa and gardens. The Villa is well appointed with plenty of space to chill out and have fun. The outdoor space is lovely with a fabulous pool, areas to relax, a BBQ and places to eat (but watch the mosquitoes they really liked us!). A good location to explore the surrounding areas but a car is a must. There are some lovely touches around the home which give away that this is Anne & Johan’s home. We had great communication with the hosts throughout our stay and thank them for letting us share their special space.

Summary: A wonderful villa with the most amazing pool. 10 mins walk to a beach with restaurants and Calpe is just a few minutes drive. The villa was beautiful and the owners have great communication and easy to get along with. Very highly recommended!!

Summary: Our recent stay at the Villa was absolutely amazing, we had a couple of minor issues on the first day but Johan made sure these were sorted out promptly. Communication from booking to check out has been super-efficient, friendly and helpful. We stayed here with our daughters and their partners, we all love to cook, and it was a genuine pleasure to use the kitchen. We’ve stayed in many places where the kitchen utensils are basic, this is definitely not the case here, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. Johan and Anne generously share the contents of their wonderful home with their guests, so table settings look and feel beautiful, so much so, we only went out for dinner one night. The barbeque was great and with 4 different spaces for dining, you are literally spoilt for choice, the dining room and poolside were our favourites. The pool and garden are fantastic, totally peaceful, most days we didn’t see or hear anyone else, just what we wanted, it really is a perfect place to relax and unwind. The well-established tropical garden is stunning. As you would expect there was a good few mosquitos, so make sure to take insect spray. But the house is well prepared for this with citronella candles and plug in repellents in most locations so it’s not a huge issue. The pool is stunning and so well maintained it really is a delight, we enjoyed the pool from early morning to evening. It was actually difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool and garden to explore, so do allow yourselves a few days to just enjoy the space. We enjoyed the walk to the beach, it’s a steep climb on the way back. Mandala, the bar on the beach does good food and there are several supermarkets close by, we hired a car so had access to 3 or 4. We all totally loved the villa and had a fabulous holiday and would love to become one of Johan and Anna’s regular visitors.

Summary: We spent 2 weeks in this lovely villa during late August 2022. A relatively short walk (around 15 mins) to local beaches & restaurants or a 10-15 min drive to either Moraira (lovely) or Calp (bigger/busier) so the location is good. Would generally recommend needing a car to get around. A very clean, comfortable and well appointed 3 bedroom villa with loads of space outside with a great pool, outside cooking area with BBQ and lovely garden surroundings. Some nice touches with tech like TV with all the main streaming apps built in for the kids and a Sonus speaker system which you can connect to when you want some entertainment to relax. Very friendly, helpful and approachable owners also - would highly recommend! 👍

Summary: The Villa is exactly as shown in the photo's. You could describe it as an upside down house in UK terms in that all of the bedrooms are on the ground floor with the kitchen and living area on the upper level. This works very well as it keeps the bedrooms cool at night and although we did use the aircon at times the bedrooms were no where near as hot as other villa's we have stayed at in August. The pool area is completely private and is not overlooked and has the benefit of sun all day from 10am with various umbrellas and shady areas if it was needed. The kitchen facilities are the best we have experienced and it’s clear this is the owners second home rather than just a rental. The villa is up a steep hill and although it is walking distance from the nearest beach, restaurant and supermarket you do need a car or take taxi's to enjoy Calpe or Moraira (the next biggest towns) Calpe is approximately 5 minutes by car. Overall this villa is really good value and the best we have stayed in. We liked it so much we will be returning in 2023. Johan is very responsive and although we did not have any issues while there he kept in regular contact. (checking we arrived safely etc) Thanks again, we are already looking forward to next year!

Summary: We spent two weeks in mid-October and we had a great vacation. The house is very nice furnished and offers all comfort. It is exactly as described and we did not miss anything. We had barbeque and enjoyed our meals on the terrace. The house is very quiet and has a beautiful and well-groomed garden. We did not need the air condition but the fans proved to be helpful against the mosquitoes, which unfortunately still existed in October (mosquitoes are widespread in the area and appear almost everywhere). The pool is amazing and the water temperature was - although already October - still 22 degrees (the sea temperature was even a few degrees higher). The nearest beach (Playa de la Fustera) and the recommendable Mandala Beach Bar are only a 15-minute walk downhill. The sandy beaches of Calpe can be reached in 10 minutes by car (a lot of free parking!!). These beaches are not crowded and perfect for kids (non-swimmers). Many thanks to Anne and Johan for the friendly communication and the many useful tips we received before our trip.

Summary: The house is beautiful and is a ‘home’ more than a rental house. The main living area is very well set up, a spacious living-room with two comfortable sofás and two armchairs to watch TV. Open kitchen and large dining table. The swimming pool is new, has a very good size and is lovely in the evening if you switch-on the pool lights. The location is very good, just between Calpe and Moraira, with many supermarkets within 10 minutes drive. Car is a must. Anne and Johan were very helpful and answered all our questions very quickly. We had a great holidays!

Summary: Fantastic Villa/home. Loads of detail and assistance provided by the owners where and if needed. The pool is great, the garden is amazing. And you can see a good amount of effort has gone into creating the feeling of a home on the inside. It’s a fantastic size and could easily accommodate a large family or a group of friends. But due to its homely feel it still felt intimate enough to cater for my smaller party of 3 for a week. You could shut yourself off from the world here and just relax if you chose to it’s that nice. But if you’re looking to explore the area I couldn’t recommend a better base to stay. We would definitely stay again if visiting this part of Spain. And quite likely we would visit the area again as we loved it. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.
