Positive: Loved our 3 nights at this beautiful resort. Stunning views, beautiful pool. Tropical gardens are gorgeous. Nice big rooms. The staff were great and so helpful. Great base for looking around this area of Bali.
Negative: A night visitor....a mouse pops in to say hello and rattle around on the dresser

Positive: Had a relaxing 2 night stay in this resort that has recently been renamed. Its a beautiful place, we were unlucky with the weather but saw the volcano (albeit by getting up at 6am before it got cloudy). The staff were amazingly attentive - some were obviously new, but wanted to please so much. We had a lovely massage while our teenage sons played pool outside.
Negative: Some of the resort was a bit tired, eg there is a path that leads to 300 steps that we followed, but it ended with a delapidated river crossing. We were a bit confused! Also the gym was a bit grim, and the sauna was long dead! The meals were a little odd - they did not follow normal restaurant convention! You order 1 hour before and your meal is delivered in entirety (including dessert!) - maybe they need to make this clearer on the menu, and perhaps try and stagger the courses.
Summary: Beautiful resort that is recently in new ownership - a few teething troubles…but staff & location are great

Positive: This place is magical. It is intimate and small, and it is a perfect getaway. Prepare for a long ride, but that is the secret of it being genuine and restorative. My friend and I were lucky to come during the weekend when no other guests were around and we had the entire place for ourselves. A truly special experience.

Positive: The best resort of Ubud no doubts! The hotel is incredible, the staff is super sweet and friendly and the rooms are amazing! The main pool is really nice to see sunsets and the hotel has a lot of activities inside like mini golf, pool and other games. The food was great and the communication with the staff was super personalized and instantly responding. Will come back in the future!

Positive: First and foremost, the location of the property with respect to the views and tranquility is amazing. You get phenomenal views of Mt Batur and given you’re in the middle of the jungle, it’s very peaceful! Breakfast was ok but small servings
Negative: We stayed here three nights and I think you need to be clear about why you’re going here. If you’re looking for peace and serenity and don’t necessarily want to venture out daily. You’ll love it! You will definitely need a car as this place is literally in the middle of nowhere! There are shops nearby but you will need a driver to get you there - 10 min drive (note they do offer driving services) The property itself needs maintenance. It has everting you need but you can tell it’s tired with chipping wood, mould on exterior doors and needs painting. We stayed in the villa with a private pool which was lovely. We were the only ones staying here in the entire resort, except for one other couple on the first or second night. There is nothing to do in the evening except eat. There is a billiard table and darts but that’s it.

Positive: We had the most wonderful stay. The location was perfect — in the middle of the jungle and beautifully quiet, but not far from all of the places we wanted to travel to. The staff were amazing! So attentive and quick to respond to any of our requests. The grounds of the hotel are stunning — the lily pond was one of our favourite features and we loved the openness of the dining area to the outdoors. We also loved our room and the private balcony and pool. We had the best spa treatments too and the food served in the restaurant was delicious, especially the mie goreng and the French toast!

Our villa, furnished with traditional Balinese pieces, was spacious, impeccably clean, and had such a calming atmosphere. The swimming pool is massive and faces the volcano — the view is breathtaking, a true “wow” moment every time you step outside. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here, and the food was always fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff were wonderful — caring, attentive, and always ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a serene, relaxing getaway in the heart of nature, look no further. This place is a dream come true!
