Summary: The receptionist was very grumpy on our arrival and anything i asked was met with a negative attitude, so much so my college commented on this to me that he got the same feeling. We have a corporate account with the hotel, yet when i asked things about this, again i got a negative attitude and felt as thou i shouldn't ask. When i got to my room - i felt the look of the bed and bedding was cheap and uninviting, and it felt as it looked. Also i appreciate the restaurant / bar area is being changed, but the whole place look so uninviting and during breakfast my table was sticky and both my cutlery and napkin was sticking to the surface. it looked clean but it clearly wasnt clean

Summary: Excellent location for train station and city centre room's are a good size beds are comfortable and room was clean reception and bar area was clean breakfast was good overall a lovely hotel

Summary: It was booked for a client, she said the showers were amazing, buffet breakfast was really nice and it was very clean. Food needed a bit more zip to the evening meal, and was shocked to be paying parking, as was I. biggest problem was travellers rolling suitcases at 2 am, I will use again but I'll ask for end of coridor room

Summary: Close to the train station which was good, but arriving late on a Saturday evening alone, I didn't feel massively safe walking from the station to the hotel on my own as there were a considerable number of intoxicated people getting off the train at Derby as well.

Summary: Stayed few times its a nice hotel could do woth a better menu and even something you coukd have with tea or coffee scones cake biscuits etc

Summary: - Air flow wasnt working in the room so the room was cold. - Was moved to a different room. - TV wasn't working properly. Paid quite a lot for stuff that didn't work. Would like a fraction of what I paid to be refunded due to things not functioning as they should be.
