The house is built to take advantage of its location on the water with bedrooms and living area facing the ocean. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed; the second bedroom has twins that can be converted to a king. Plenty of linens provided. While rates quoted are for 2 persons, this house works well for 2 couples because of the way it is laid out with bedrooms on each end and a common living area in the center. Additional charge is $15 per day per person, with a maximum of four total persons in the house. Bedrooms and living area open to the front deck and water. Each bedroom has its own covered sitting area that joins the front deck. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is well-furnished. Charcoal grill is located on back patio. Or, guests could elect to have a true Bahamian meal cooked for them at the house by contacting Sue Knowles; her number is posted at the house. Many local restaurants are within easy driving distance to the house. The property offers privacy. Serenity Cove home is tucked back in a cove and sits in the center of three lots, all owned by the property owner. Watch the night life on the water with the help of high-beam lighting that covers the cove area. Ten Bay Beach is one of the nicest beaches on Eleuthera; great for sunbathing, swimming, walking, and snorkeling right from the beach. Vacationers enjoy getting into the water in front of the house for swimming and snorkeling, or going to the beach which is a short 50 yards through the water. Many folks visit the entire island, but say their favorite place is right at Ten Bay Beach! A favorite past time is feeding fish from the deck. Serenity Cove offers one 2-person Gemini kayak and 2 single Perception Tribe kayaks with gear. The deck on this house is high and over coral rock. We always caution folks with small children. If you are an island visitor, you realize the tiny no-see-ums also love the area. We recommend that visitors who are sensitive, bring needed repellent. Water shoes are also recommended to avoid the sea urchins. The wrap-around deck offers you sun (or not) from 3 locations. Guests have explored this island from top to bottom and have found great beaches to explore. Many folks enjoy traveling south to Tarpum Bay to purchase fresh fish from the docks; wait until mid-afternoon. We recommend reading the guest book for ideas, and also entering your own for others to explore. Directions to the house: On Queens Highway, travel 14 miles south of Governor's Harbour airport; roughly 4 miles south of Palmetto Point. After your pass a small sub-station with transformers enclosed in a chain-link fence (on you right), the road to Ten Bay development will be on your right (about 1.5 or less miles). On right, look for sign that has property owners listed. Follow that road for about .8 mile; the house is on the right; palm trees lining drive to house.

Summary: This was our second time staying at the property and this time we brought my sister and brother in law. The house and location are amazing and worked perfectly for two couples. We never wanted to leave and loved every minute at the house. The location is prefect to explore the south and north parts of the island. Once again we saw turtles, rays and various fish outside the house which was awesome. We never wanted to leave! Special thank you to Nell for being so accommodating of our trip dates.

Summary: Was easy to get to. Absolutely loved the deck looking over the water. The deck chairs were comfortable. The kayaks filled with water but we didnt drown. Rental had everything you would need. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We loved our stay at serenity cove! They have everything you need for a great vacation… beach chairs, towels, a cooler, kayaks, and life vests. We brought our snorkeling gear and enjoyed snorkeling right off the back deck. At night the sea life was fun to watch from the deck. We had nightly visits from a sea turtle and a nurse or lemon shark…not sure which kind it was. The house is very well furnished and clean. Nell always responded quickly with any questions I had prior to our trip. I definitely recommend this location.

Summary: Serenity Cove lived up to its name. A nicely furnished home with a spectacular view of the bay/cove and the nighttime star-filled sky.Private and quiet, there is easy access by car to GREAT food shopping for such a small island, especially the fresh fruit and greens an nearby Island Farm.The house is extremely comfortable and secure with plenty of porch space for sitting and enjoying the sun and view. Both bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of utensils, bowls, etc.Our plan/hope? To return next year. That's how much we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: First time to Eleuthera with our 14/12 year old girls. Lovely and peaceful stay, the setting is beautiful and very relaxing. The property is perfect for 4, comfortable if a little dated. Great touch to have extras like kayaks, life vests, snorkelling gear etc. We were there just before the season gets going so was tough finding places to eat with many still closed. Not too far from Governour’s Harbour. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: My family ( husband and 9 and 11 year old daughters) all said they loved this house and want to come back every year. The location and view were amazing! Everything exceeded our expectations. The owners provided many thoughtful touches- such as the floats, snorkel gear, life jackets, and games. My family didn’t want to leave the house to explore new places because the house was so tranquil and lovely. The walk to the beach was very quick. Nell was very helpful with my questions before our arrival. We hope to return soon! Thank you!!!

Summary: Our party of 4 enjoyed our week at Serenity Cove! Everything was comfortable and as expected from the listing. Communication was friendly and smooth, including dealing with a flight delay. You can’t beat the mid-island location and the benefits of being right on Ten Bay for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing. The kitchen was one of the best-equipped we have encountered in a rental, which was much appreciated, as we cooked often. Would not hesitate to recommend for two couples wanting to share a relaxing rental.

Summary: Our stay was amazing, leaving was incredibly difficult because we fell in love with the sweetest cat we called “Serenity”, she showed up as soon as we arrived, she was starving so we fed her. We planned on taking her home but couldn’t because the local Vet said she had FIV which would be a detriment to our cats at home, (we did make sure she was completely vaccinated before we left,) we have been heartbroken since we left. We hope that people care for her as they come in each week as we did. Our stay was magical, the location was amazing and peaceful, we snorkeled everyday right in front of the house, and enjoyed a few kayaking trips in the bay. The home was impeccably clean, we did loose power for about 9 hours one day but made the best of it. The only thing I would suggest would be getting clarification on rental car cost before hand, the welcome book stated around $50 a day and we were charged $90 a day by Arthur for a non 4 wheel drive vehicle, which we thought was really high. Everything else was amazing, and leaving was so hard. We will definitely be returning.
