Positive: The location was fantastic, memorable views, peace & quiet.
Negative: Just need to be a little careful when turning from public rd when entering or leaving the pvt road up to the holiday home & pat road can be a little bumpy. Wifi not great unfortunately.
Summary: just great, would return hopefully. Host was very helpful.

Positive: The view is extremely nice, on one side overlooking rolling hills and Lago D'Orta on the other side even more rolling hills through the forest. The garden is amazing! The house has really everything you need and is very well maintained. The owner is extremely nice! We will for sure come back!

Positive: The place was just what we were expecting. The owner was coming to pick us up from a point in the middle of the mountain and was super nice and kind. She gave us the instructions via her phoebe using Google translate as she was not speaking English - though we got along fine with that. The place is located on the top of the mountain and has the best view. We were there with our kids who enjoyed it as well. It is very clean and had everything we needed. Be aware that this place is really in the “middle of nowhere” so you gotta go there with all the things you’ll need for a long stay - including water (!!!!)
Negative: It’s wi-fi was very week No drinking water in pipes But hey, you are in the most beautiful place in the world so who needs all of that? :)

Positive: Baita Mael is a great spot to relax with a beautiful panorama. Elvezia, the host is very nice and helpful.
Negative: Just be aware you are a 15min drive away from everything so make sure to bring enough groceries (which tip Elvezia already gave ahead of time👍🏻)

Positive: Baita Mael worked perfectly for two families. The upstairs apartment has a mezzanine with a large double bed and large sofa bed. The downstairs apartment has a separate bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. The garden is enormous and the views are breathtaking. It is completely enclosed so very safe. The apartments were spotless and very well equipped. The owner kindly left fresh fruit and veg as well as other snacks, tea and coffee. It is worth bringing bottled water as you can’t drink the tapwater. The house is difficult to find but communication with the owner was excellent and she made sure we got there! Both families loved the house and location and would love to go back.
Summary: Amazing views, spotless, accommodation, book both apartments for two families travelling together.
