This two bedroom apartment on the top floor of the Boyd Building offers stunning panoramic water views of the harbour and Port Phillip bay.
Brilliantly situated on the New Quay waterfront with a great range of restaurants, shopping, tourist and transport facilities at the doorstep. There is a open living area with leather furniture, large TV, comfortable dining table for six and a sleek gourmet kitchen fitted with everything you might need, including Miele dishwasher, oven and hotplates.
The living area opens onto a full width balcony to admire those amazing views from the 22nd floor .
The master bedroom features access to another balcony, an ensuite, walk in robe and has a queen sized bed.
There is a second bedroom, also with views and a king bed that can be turned into 2 Singles and a second bathroom as well.
The unit has a washing machine and dryer, reverse cycle air conditioning and free secure undercover parking included. The Boyd building has an outdoor pool, gym and BBQ that you can use for the duration of your stay. New Quay is situated 200 meters from Marvel Stadium so it is a great location for attending AFL football, soccer and special concerts. Other tourist sites at the doorstep include the Melbourne Star wheel, ice skating and Harbour Town shopping Centre. Free trams from the door take you five minutes to the Melbourne CBD and all that it has to offer.

Summary: Comfortable apartment for 2 couples. Easy access as per our instrctions. Very quiet location. Convenient to trams which was great as we had a fairly hectic schedule of exhibitions and shows. Would recommend.

Summary: First of all the view from this place is simply fantastic and this by itself makes this a great place to stay. The location is also great, close to several tram lines and inside the free tram zone, and lots of restaurants along the Newquay Promenade. A grocery store and even a Costco are within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Steve was also a great host and responded to questions we had very quickly. The location of the keys is in kind of an odd spot, but Steve's directions are pretty detailed so make sure to read them first! Highly recommended!

Summary: This apartment would be perfect for both short and long stays in Melbourne. We stayed for two days and found that there were restaurants and tram stops in walking distance, which are in the free tram zone. There are small supermarkets close by, and Marvel Stadium and Melbourne CBD are easily accessible. There are lovely views from the floor, and we found the apartment building was quiet and clean.The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, so if people were to stay for long periods of time or wanted to cook they could with ease. Highly recommend - the location and comfort of the apartment made our trip highly enjoyable.

Summary: This was our second visit to Steve's rental in The Docklands in Melbourne. The rental was well stocked, was in an excellent location for access to a well appointed gym, groceries, shopping, Costco and transit in the Free Tram Zone. The air conditioning was welcomed since a few days were in the 30C range. Lastly, the penthouses views over the harbour were amazing. We came back because we had a great experience 2 years ago and would return here again if we return to Melbourne.
