Summary: What a disappointment. The hotel highlight- convenient, inner harbor location. We paid for a harbor view room & were on the 19th floor w/ a beautiful panoramic view! BUT... . We should've been told that there's construction going on through April (?longer), in the lobby entrance & elsewhere. The pool, fitness center & 3rd floor patio were closed. They provided passes to an outside gym but who wants to take a jacuzzi or sauna & then have to walk back to your hotel. . The hotel has NO Concierge...what major hotel doesn't? I guess the Marriott Waterfront Baltimore. When asked about Hop-on-Hop-Off buses you'd think we were speaking a foreign language. . The staff has no street maps to give out so no ability to easily map out directions for points of interest or the location of local transportation. We received comments like "check for maps on the internet" AND "go to the visitor's center, they'll have everything you need" (btw, it was closed that day with plumbing problems) AND ""they" don't give us maps anymore so we can't help you" ??????? . There's NO bottled water provided in the room (unless you're a BONVOY member & you ask for it). . There's NO late checkout unless you're a BONVOY member & you ask for it. But you can't set it up in advance. You have to go to the front desk on your checkout date in advance of checkout time ... otherwise you'll be locked out of your room at regular checkout time. . There's NO FREE WIFI anywhere in the hotel.
