Positive: A fabulous stay at Baobab Beach, the cottage was right on the beach with a beautiful view, spacious, well appointed and really comfortable with a wonderful sit-out area. The hotel also has a nice bar and restaurant on site with great food and a wonderful ambience, The staff is very helpful and I must commend the manager, who takes time out regularly to check-up on the guests is very solicitous and helpful. Though my diving plans were kinda ruined by a cyclone, however I quite enjoyed relaxing here and would love to back when the weather is a bit better.
Negative: Just a few small things will help add to the experience 1) Extending the WiFi coverage to the residential areas would be useful since it is currently only available near the bar and restaurant 2) Liquid hand soap in the bathrooms would be a helpful addition 3) Water station to refill bottles, even at a charge would be ok instead of adding to plastic waste by buying bottled water, i hate to see the amount of plastic waste being generated

Positive: Right on the beach, great shower pressure, comfortable beds and the room had aircon. The staff were so lovely & welcoming and we were lucky enough to meet the owners. Highly recommend staying here! we look forward to visiting again soon.

Positive: In December 2024 I stayed there for 8 nights. One night in a hut, 7 nights in two diffrent chalets. The staff in particular Rabeca were incredibly friendly, helpful with informations and calm. I felt very welcome. The complex is directly on the beach. You can see wonderful sunrise. For me the chalet were luxury with a fantastic view. They have moskito net, a fridge, a kettle and tea and coffee. Also warm water in the shower and comfortable beds. They have a Restaurant and a kitchen if you want to cook yourself and a common area with very good wifi. I would come back, clear recommendation***

Positive: We stayed in a bungalow beach front, and the view was amazing and stunning 😍 The bungalows have a good size with a private toilet. The hotel is situated near the village, which makes it a good thing. They also have a camping space with a toilet and a shower and a full kitchen that everyone can use it 😀 We stayed also one night in a bungalow house, an updated version of the others, with an extra bed, a bigger fridge, and more space.
Negative: The mattresses were awful, really old, and really used. It's not good. it was difficult to sleep after a while, and also discomforting. They were constructing more bungalows, and we stayed right next to it. The one in construction. One week next to it without a single day with a pause on the construction site. It was terrible, at 6 a.m. the workers were outside doing a lot of noise (that's normal) drilling, talking loud, etc. Once we needed to ask them to keep it to a minimum. Sometimes, they were in our little garden, doing a pause to eat or something else. They turned on the water and forgot to turn it off. I had to do it myself. It had water everywhere. We had water issues in our bungalow. One day without warm water and at the beginning (for three days) water everywhere because the plumbing was clogged. Lastly, the view from the bedroom over the sea is spoilt by the ugly green construction netting they use to fence off the perimeter. You can't see the beach because there's this net in front of you, at the height of your vision

Positive: The staff make the place and the location is second to none. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcomed and at home. The rooms were smart and clean. Special thanks to the two Alexs' in the restaurant and bar area Alex V and Alex W. Both constantly had a smile on their faces and nothing was too much trouble for them. Rebecca was also a gem and had a ready smile for us and went out of her way to make our stay special. A trip on the Rock 'n Rolla with Etienne is also a definite must!!!
Negative: There was some construction work taking place right next to one of our two suites which was an inconvenient with workers being there all day encroaching on one od the balcony's privacy and the steps leading down to the beach were being worked on and out of commission during our whole stay (you could still acess the beaxh readily with a helping hand) The works were probably something unavoidable so not really a complaint.
