Positive: The rooms on the beachfront are well priced and worth it. Within walking distance to all the main areas of Vil and on the best strip of beach.

Positive: Gorgeous views and right on the beach. Friendly staff and cute property.
Negative: The mattress in the was extremely uncomfortable, a typical banana mattress. I was allowed to use the kitchen, but it isn't really made for Self-Catering.

Positive: The view is spectacular and the staff were very friendly.
Negative: the room was not ready when we arrived, and we noticed that it was the same with other rooms, we had to wait while they were cleaning. There was no mosquito net in the room, no mirror, no clothe hanger and in the shower there was no curtain to prevent the water to spead and there was no carpet to dry the feet after the shower. that made the room messy after taking a shower.
Summary: The stay was good but we hope that next time will be amazing.

Positive: I had originally booked a bungalow, but due to it being the low season the hotel manager kindly upgraded me to one of the beachfront villas. The villa offeres your a fantastic view and you wake up with the sun rising over the Indian Ocean. The bed was super comfortable, the staff kind, friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. The common lounge area has a well stocked bar and cozy seating arrangements and hammocks. Nearby you can catch dhow cruises with local fishermen.
Negative: As stated by other travellers, a lock on the main doors should be installed.
Summary: Lovely gem in Vilankulos at a competitive price

Positive: I decided for this place because of the cheaper price than other hostels around. The shower was hot, it was right at the beach and the staff was nice. The room was clean.
Negative: There’s a bar on the property. I arrived on a Sunday evening. The music was playing so loud I couldn’t even talk to manager while checking in. I could even hear the music in the dorm. They didn’t put the volume down until 10 pm. There seemed to be some kind of birthday going on, all the guests seemed incredibly drunk and were starring at me or annoyingly approaching me, even when trying to avoid them in quiet areas. I felt really uncomfortable as a female solo traveler. No free water, had to buy it at the bar. The price on booking was 510 M they charged me 600 M, I was too tired too argue about it. They tried to help me how to travel further, explaining me when and where the buses leave, sadly the information they gave me was wrong.

Positive: Stunning location. Fully IAW the published pictures. 30m or so from the beach. Perfect views from your bed through giant panoramic windows. Pedro @ reception/bar is very helpful, e.g. organizing trip to Bazaruto Island. Warm water. Mosquito-nets. Obrigado!

Positive: I liked everything! the amazing view and being close to the water front was top! The bed was confortable, the linen and towels clean, there was hot water and slept with the sound of the waves. Pedro the owner is a wonderful host, who helped us with any question or need we had. Pedro speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and a bit of French. The food is fresh and delicious. Perfect place to chill and and enjoy with the locals and the tourists. Instead of being solely among tourists like in other lodges.
