Summary: Tried to message the property owner but never responded, the two tv’s in the other bedrooms didn’t work, and the lock on the inside of the front door was installed crooked and was loose and didn’t want to get blamed for any damage of it even tho it was literally like that when I walked into the house

Summary: I was hesitant to book this property due to seeing it being managed by a company over and individual but went ahead anyway.Arriving at the property only the rear lock (back door) worked to allow entry. I discovered why entering the home and realizing the power had been shut off to the property (I assume to save money). The power had been off for several days based on the humidity inside the home, the freezer in the fridge being full of water from the melted ice and the odor of the dozen eggs that were left on the fridge. We were further greeted by every smoke alarm in the home beeping incessantly due to their batteries being dead. We called our "local" representative as instructed in the instructions...no answer, left a voicemail. Texted the number....no response. Called the "national" company number, they put us on hold while they tried to call the "local" representative, he did not respond to them either. Magically the power comes on and the security alarm starts blaring through the home. It took awhile to figure that out. The smoke alarms continued their beeping which required I remove them and put them outside. The home was fairly dirty and based on the smell of the rotten eggs it had not been attended to recently. The shower in the master bedroom was missing a shower door, so you have to put towels on the floor to soak up the overflow. The lights in the kitchen are missing their coverings so you're staring at florescent bulbs in the kitchen.

Summary: The day before our stay I read the one review and had me worried. So called virbo and they assured us that the problem was fixed and they were ready for our stay. So a couple of issues were; the door lock was all messed up, the water flow was very weak, not enough kitchen utensils and pots, the beds were too soft and one of the beds my nephew said they were afraid to move cause they felt it was gonna break, the back door automatically locks from the outside so you can be locked out, the garbage disposal doesn’t work and o e side of the sink had a slow drain. Other than that it was a good stay. The neighborhood felt safe.
