Baybreeze is located on the beautiful white sand beach in Bennett's Harbour, at the northern end of Cat Island. Only 15 minutes from the Arthur's Town airport or, 45 minutes from the New Bight airport.
The house is perfect for a two!
FOUR beautiful air conditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans, two are oceanfront master suites. Three full baths, and a spacious great room with three more ceiling fans. There is plenty of room for up to 10 guests. The kitchen has everything that you could ever want to prepare meals, as well as a 'Margaritaville Frozen Concoction' machine to create your own custom blended drinks on the patio as you watch the spectacular sunset.
Outside is a 14 x 14 covered gazebo, a 16 x 35 stone patio, and outside shower.
With speakers in the ceiling both in the great room, and on the patio, be sure to bring your iPod to relax with your favorite tunes.
We have WiFi! A TV, with a DVD player, lots of movies, video games, board games, puzzles, books and an iPod stereo system with speakers in the ceiling inside and out, are available to help you relax. There are 4 sea kayaks and lots of masks and snorkels for you to use at no additional cost. There are small stores nearby, and many restaurants to choose from for local Bahamian cooking, or you can have authentic Bahamian food delivered to the house. Summary: So beautiful! The views, house, everything!! Ricky, Kenny & Altamese were very helpful. The guys went out fishing 🎣 for mahi mahi. Came home with 2 plus a black ring snapper & a trigger 🐟 🐠 We kayaked, walked the beach multiple times a day. Seeing star fish, stingrays & sharks. Snorkled the Warf & saw so many cool fish, stingray & shark. Ate lunch at Kizzey's cafe, her Conch salad was outstanding! Hopefully we'll be back sometime.

Summary: The Baybreeze house is simply amazing in every aspect. We had 2 families in the house and felt like there was ample space for us. The two best parts about the house have to be the beach and the gazebo. Which by the way is perfect for an afternoon nap with the breeze that blows through there. The caretaker Ricky is great. He was able to provide info on the island hot spots as well as get us some amazing fresh snapper and grouper. All in all, this trip was fantastic and I can’t wait to go back to Cat Island and stay in Lori’s home again.

Summary: This property fit two families (9 people) perfectly! The open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedroom, 3 BR was everything our families needed. We enjoyed the beach, snorkeling, swimming, bone fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sun rises and sun sets. Our most favorite experience was Andrews homemade bread - we walked to get it every morning - absolutely delicious and worth every bite! A true relaxing vacation and a place we will hopefully return too!

Summary: This property is stunning. The view, the amenities and the customer service all exceeded our expectations. The owner, Lori, is so easy to work with and helped make our trip fabulous. We traveled to Cat Island for Christmas 2015. Ricky met us at the airport and he was a wealth of information. We rented Lori's suburban and we loved it. No paperwork to fill out, just get in and go. The house is everything and more than the description states. The kitchen has EVERYTHING! The kitchen is huge. The freezer has an icemaker. There are 2 identical master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The outside shower was awesome to rinse off the salt water and sand. I doubt there is a nicer property on the island. The thing we loved most about our trip to Cat Island is that there is no one there. We walked 7 miles up the Atlantic side of the island one day and we didn't see a single person. There was a lot of debri and that provided some great treasure hunting. We passed by hundreds of fishing nets and floats and even a shipwrecked sailboat. Lori gave us a great tip that we are so happy we paid attention to. We took a cooler full of steak, chicken, cheese, butter, etc. Food on the island is extremely expensive. And it's not like the USA where you can run to the closest minimart and get what you need. There are few grocery stores, but they aren't open 24 hours a day, selection is very limited and everything is very expensive. So take some meals with you. It was much more convenient for our large party of 10 to eat our meals at the house rather than to find a restaurant. But if you do choose to find a restaraunt, call in advance to make a reservation. Back to the property. The beach in front of the house is perfect. The sand is like sugar, the water is pristine, the bay is calm and beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the kayaks, paddling up the little inlet just south of the house. We saw lots of stingrays, turtles and a shark! We used the bbq almost every day. If you're looking for a vacation away from the crowds, this is the place for you. And Baybreeze far exceeded our expectations.

Summary: We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home on 1 of the most beautiful places we have ever been! We took the whole family including our 2 year old grandaughter over Christmas. The home is incredible, the people were amazing! We definitely fell in love and can't wait to return! The owners were so kind & patient to work with! We never tried the wi fi but didn't miss it, just got special minutes on our phone! The only thing we will take next time is baby oil for it made the sans flies not bite

Summary: Renting this house was definately the way to go. Have been to Cat Island a few times before and always stayed at resorts, but this beautiful house had everything and more. The advantage is you can eat what you want and when you want it, unlike being at the mercy of the resorts for your meals. Ricky the house manager was more than helpful. He was at the airport waiting when we arrived, took care of all our bags (and there were a lot) even checked in on us during the week to see if we needed anything, nice guy. Lori is very easy to work with when booking and everything was as shown on the web site. Very clean, and everything worked (accept wifi out on most of island, not her fault), she even has a rice maker, can you believe it!! Will be coming back next year.

Summary: The information on this house is exactly as presented. But the house is much nicer than the photos show. I would consider it a luxury accommodation, when compared to any other house that I have rented, for a reasonable price. The owners are spending the money necessary to keep the house looking brand new, and very clean inside and out. It has a very large open kitchen and family room area, that accommodated our 7 people. The kitchen has the best stocked appliances and utensils that I have seen. The house sits on a horseshoe shaped bay, surrounded by a beautiful sandy beach, and the Caribbean water is generally calm. We had family members from 1 year old to 62 years old, and the water was perfect for all to enjoy. If you plan on any site seeing while there, you need a car. There are some small food stands nearby, but no stores/restaurants of any size within walking distance. The owners rented us an older suburban, that was clean and ran well. It does have an ignition switch problem. But, we found that if you only turn the ignition off till the tiny drive indicator light goes out, then when you turn the key ON again, it turns easily. If you forget and turn the key all the way Off, then you may spend 5 minutes trying to get the key to turn again. You will want the Suburban if you want to go to the Atlantic ocean, as the roads are bad on that side of the island. You never have to worry about getting lost, as there is only 1 major road that runs the entire length of the island. The local people are very friendly and accommodating and spoke English. Reverend Johnson stopped by the day we arrived, and had good produce at a reasonable price. We tried to buy their food (local bread, cake and conch salad) and services as much as possible, as they don't have many opportunities to make a living. DaSmoke Pot has good food and a lively rake and scrape band. Grammy's also had good food. This is the Real, old-fashioned Bahamas. Laid back and no metropolitan atmosphere. Good snorkeling 200 yards away If you like crystal clear water, sand and sun, then this house is perfect . We are planning an even bigger family vacation for next year, and are planning on renting both houses. We hired Ricky to take us out in his 19 ft Boston Whaler for a 1 day trip, for some great snorkeling, and the 3 guys then did some lobster fishing with him. If you are a good snorkeler and an adventurist/hunter his spear lobstering was a once in a lifetime trip!

Summary: Most people think of Atlantis/Nassau when they think of a visit to the Bahamas. We have travelled several islands of the country and certainly enjoyed brief stays there, but this is the perfect Bahamas vacation spot. The house is beautiful, just as represented here, but pictures cannot do justice to the view right out the back door and literally feet away. The majority of the time we were the only beach occupants and when others did appear they were friendly kids from the settlement or sea breeze next door. This house is very spacious and well stocked and suited our large family and our kids friends perfectly. Ricky, the caretaker is so helpful and a great source of island information. He also has the most jovial personality and genuinely seemed interested that we had a great vacation. Lori, the owner, is very helpful with preparation for the trip and how to see every thing this island offers while there. The island residents are friendly and despite the lack of development there, everything you really need is available. It took us a couple of days to adjust our pace to island time, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience because its true relaxation. We have kids from 14-20 years old and they were so sad to leave. We could have easily stayed another week. This is perfect for adventurous types like us, yet perfect as well for solitary readers who just enjoy a chair on the beach and a book. From sea turtles to fishing to the hermitage you will find yourself with natural wonders galore. We will definitely be back to this house. Thanks, Lori!
