3 Bedroom House in Avoca Beach

Our house is situated on a hill with views to the horizon. Set in a complex of 6, it has a driveway to the double garage with internal entry. Upon entry you will be welcomed with a beautiful view . Just bring yourselves, then simply relax and enjoy.
Our house consists of:
* 1 x Queen bedroom, ensuite, walk in robe & TV
* 1 x Double bedroom, built in robe and access to courtyard area
* 1 King single bed and 1 single bed, built in robe
* Large Weber BBQ
* All linen/towels (excluding beach towels)
* All kitchen utensils/glassware/cutlery/crockery/pottery

The Area
Avoca Beach is a great escape from Sydney. Located approximately 90kms north of Sydney, it is an easy drive mostly along a freeway, then through Gosford. A favourite place for surfers and for families to relax by the seasonally patrolled beach.
Avoca has a village feel to it. Cafes and restaurants are all casual and abuzz. Most are B.Y.O. which makes it an inexpensive option for dining out.
From Terrigal, there is scuba diving available that takes you for a dive to HMAS Adelaide just off Avoca Beach.
A bowls club is available at Avoca. Golf at Terrigal. Horse riding at Empire Bay. Bushwalking at Bouddi National Park. Boating at Brisbane Water.
* Guests have access to the pathway to the side of the units to walk to the village and beach via The Round Drive.
Other things to note
Families are welcome although the townhouse is not ideal for young children or for people with a physical disability due to internal stairs.
This townhouse is in a complex of 6, so any loud noise will impact on others.
It would be appreciated if you can limit the amount of noise after 9pm.
We would love you to enjoy and relax at our house, but if partying is your priority, we would suggest an alternative venue.

Summary: Lovely return stay in this comfortable house. Kids loved the table tennis and chess! Great spot close to beaches. Love the ocean view, so relaxing! Owners have excellent communication prior and during stay.

Summary: We had an amazing stay - we have rented many houses over the years but never been anywhere that the hosts have been so thoughtful of their guests or kept the hose so immaculately. We also had a couple of questions during our stay and they were super responsive and helpful. We will surely be back!

Summary: Peter and Jan's property was impeccable. No detail was overlooked and we had a super comfortable and relaxed trip. The thoughtful touches like the wine, eggs and homemade no nasties soap were much appreciated. The beds were comfortable and everything was sparkling. Having a guitar and the table tennis on the property was a special treat. Thanks for the special handwritten note on arrival, guide book with useful information, delayed departure and the soap, Jan and Peter. We feel rejuvenated after this mini break and hope to be back again before not too long.

Summary: My family & I had a great stay over Christmas / NY 2019/20. Peter & Jan were very accommodating even when we arrived 1 day earlier (our error) and they were still happy for us to stay the additional night! The online photos are an accurate description of the property and you can see (and hear!) the beach from the balcony and ample glass windows overlooking the sea. The welcome book was really helpful to read first up as it gave a good overview of the property and the area and things to do / places to visit. We found the ensuite bathroom mirror too low for us to use as the window was at face height, and whilst the owners had left some items in fridge and pantry for our use we weren't always sure what we could & couldn't use. As you are up on the hill, the walk to the beach is longer than some places closer, but its a very quick 4 min drive in any case and still walk-able if you wish. However these are all very minor things really as you do need to remember you are staying in someone else's home and it is a great place to stay. We had a relaxing time and would stay again.

Summary: The property was very clean with many quality inclusions. Furniture and appliances were modern and in full working order. There was plenty of very clean crockery, cutlery, glassware and cookware. Kitchen was immaculately clean and ready to use on arrival. Inclusions were very welcome and high quality. Similarly, bathrooms were immaculate and ready for use. Beds were very comfortable and fantastic for feasting the weary bones. Blinds and privacy was top notch. There was lots of information on local attractions, local eateries and things to do. Recommendations on those we tried were spot on. I congratulate the vendor as one of the best I have experienced.
