Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beachfront Escape. It's perfect for a couple to relax and get away from it all. With a view of Tapeka Beach and the bay, it's very peaceful. The wraparound porch is great for relaxing. If it gets windy, just move to another side. The kitchen is well furnished, everything we needed to cook at home some nights. Other nights, Restaurants in Russell are just 2km away. Lots of sliding doors to let in the fresh air. We didn't need heat or air conditioning.

Summary: Had a great time, and what a lovely site, sitting on the deck looking straight over the beach. Thanks Clive! Would happily stay again.The only negative was web-site check-in related: It apparently seemed necessary to both register with another (parent?) booking organisation and then install and use a phone app, in order to be able to communicate with the host about check-in.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and well-equipped house right by the sea and couldn't get enough of the enchanting sea view with its ever-changing watercolour. Enjoying our morning coffee and evening BBQ on the gorgeous deck, going for a swim just in front of the house and taking advantage of the generously provided kayaks created beautiful memories for us and the wish to come back again soon. Not to forget our lovely host, who was so kind and welcoming that we instantly felt at home. Thank you so much Clive!

Summary: This cute cottage close to the water is small but has what you need for a couple. Great venue for an active holiday of walking, swimming and kayaking. Or just gazing out to sea. Not very private if that matters to you.

Summary: This property is amazing, it is literally the definition of 'beach house', beautiful views, an all-tide-swim beach and the sound of waves in the background. The bach itself is also very well-appointed and we had a comfortable stay. We cannot recommend Tapeka bach enough.
