Positive: The cute little cottage is directly facing the lake with a panoramic window to enjoy the scene while sitting on your own couch. The interior is recently renovated and clean. It is equipped with a tv with many channels and Netflix to log in with your own account, a fridge, a stove and kitchen appliances. Janet was amazing and was available to answer any questions. She provided us with excellent recommendations for the places to visit including the nearby towns, trails and restaurants. We enjoyed using the pedal boat across the lake. Overall it was an excellent stay with a reasonable price.
Negative: The beds were not so comfortable.

Positive: We loved being right on the lake. The two docks were spacious with plenty of room for different seating areas for guests. The water was clear and nice for swimming. The manager, Janet, was helpful and responsive to questions. We also liked the location. The cottages are about half way between Port Carling and Bracebridge and about 15 minutes to either one. We walked to Huckleberry Hill and enjoyed the short hike and panoramic views of the lakes from the top. One of our party is a runner and was able to find lots of quiet country roads where he could run. The resort appears to have been in business for a long time but they clearly work hard to maintain it and have done some upgrades, i. e. New dock, new fridge in our cabin, new adirondack chairs conveniently placed around the property.
Negative: This is minor. In cabin 7, the power outlets were older and for the most part it was difficult to keep a plug securely attached.
Summary: For the price point we could not have been happier and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Positive: Free to use paddle boat to enjoy the lakeview. Friendly host.
Negative: I am surprised there is no air conditioning in the unit. It's quite hot inside when there is only 2 fan. Tiny unit, packed washroom and bedroom.
