Summary: Cute bach across the road from the beach with views of Kapiti Island and handy to shops. Bach was well set up with everything you might need. It was a delightful surprise to be supplied with fruit, wine and milk. Set us up for a great weekend exploring the area.

Summary: The property and location are very nice but there were a few small things that we noticed as a group. Mike, the owner, was very nice and the communication was great. He let me know that day of the rental that we could get in earlier than the stated time but, unfortunately, that was too late for us to change our travel plans to take advantage of it. He also let me know that he was doing work on 2 added rooms on the 2nd floor in that communication. When we arrived, we noticed construction dust throughout the house so I had to rate a bit lower on cleanliness. The shower head in the main bathroom shower needs a bit of TLC as the spray is a bit wild and cannot be adjusted. He left a nice welcome note and a bottle of bubbly for us to enjoy and that was super nice of him - Thank you, Mike!

Summary: Location could not be beaten - the cottage was clean, convenient and a great space for our 3 generation family. We enjoyed swimming walking and the wonderful children’s playground.
