Lovely central Montreux apartment 30 kilometers from ski resort of Villars sur Ollon. A balcony overlooks the Grand - Rue and provides a view of Lake Geneva and the mountains beyond. A roof terrace is also available for use by residents.Restaurants, cinema, shops and lakeside gardens are all within easy walking distance.
Two double bedrooms (each with bathroom) will comfortably sleep 4 adults and a baby's cot is also available. There is a large living area with well- equipped kitchen. Glassware and crockery are plentiful as the local food and wine MUST be sampled! Large sitting area with TV, DVD player,CD player ,Internet access, games and books. There is lift access to and from the apartment although there is a short flight of stairs inside the apartment leading from the front door to the living area.
The apartment is equipped with its own washing machine and dryer, coffee machine and juicer.
The beautiful town of Vevey is a few minutes away on the trolley bus which runs alongside the Lake from just outside the apartment, with a wealth of shops (large and small) and a picturesque lakeside walk. Trains offering a panoramic ride up into the mountains leave regularly from Montreux station which is a two-minute walk from the apartment.

Summary: Agnes the housekeeper went out of her way to greet us. TV doesn’t work, but in fairness to owner (Paula) she did warn us about this upfront and offer a refund . Unfortunately I couldn’t find any replacement properties 3 weeks out. The flat is spacious and has excellent WiFi. Unfortunately, there really isn’t any view of the lake, due to the trees that have grown. Beautiful views of the mountains though. The flat is in need of some TLC, as the A/C in the bedroom was not working, the ceiling in corridor had black bin liners taped to it(Which fell down) few other niggly things. Oh, and bring your own dishwasher and washing powder to clean,along with shampoo. Location is great. Paula is trying her best, but seems to be up against things happening.

Summary: This is a very nice property in the middle of it all. Location was great. Places to buy food/alcohol are all within steps. Many great restaurants, all within steps. 45 Grill was fabulous. Irish pub a few more steps down was great, too. Train station right there. The front faces the busy street but the bedrooms are to the back and it’s quiet. Beds are comfy Showers work great Big sucken tub if the mood hits you The view is wonderful We cooked once, there’s plenty of nice pots/pans The place is secure and accessed by an elevator or escalator. Only stairs are into the apartment There is a nice stereo, radio only. You need to buy your own toilet paper, paper towels, cooking oil, etc There are random spices, sugar, coffee and tea. Not sure if stocked or left over. But it was nice. Bedroom has a stand up fan. Rare find in Europe. Private garage was easy and secure. I’d definitely stay here again!

Summary: Superb location close to lakeside and beautiful promenade and between two of the most famous Belle Epoque hotels. Also very easy for train station on road behind apartment block for trains along lake and up mountain. Apartment very clean, modern and up to date with great lighting and surround sound speakers for listening to Swiss Jazz! Beds very comfortable and great bathrooms with excellent showers. Area stunningly beautiful and lots to see from trips to villages along lake and vineyards to mountain walks and the amazing view from Rochers-du-Naye. Paddlesteamer boat trip around end of lake highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon. Also many excellent restaurants in the area and very friendly, happy vibe everywhere.

Summary: Paula’s apartment in Montreux fulfilled our needs perfectly. Being across the street from the train station made it perfect for taking day trips. The air conditioning in the kitchen/living room & fans in the bedrooms were much appreciated for the hotter than expected early September weather. Sipping a glass of wine on the balcony watching the sunset over Lac Leman was perfect for winding down from a busy day. And… being just down the street from the cafe, Le Cosy, made the location even better. We had the best cappuccinos, caramel cafe froid & almond croissants there! We hope to return to Montreux & stay at Paula’s lovely apartment again.

Summary: We spent a week in this very comfortable apartment right on the shores of the beautiful Lac Leman. Stunning views across the lake bordered by the majestic Alps. Paula (and Agnes) are great hosts. Simply perfect

Summary: The location of this property was incredible -- and so was the property itself. The private elevators to both street levels were amazing. Loved the balcony with its motorized awning. The kitchen was so well equipped, and sleek. The master bath was also amazing. This apartment epitomized swiss efficiency and design. Agnes, the concierge, was also very helpful with many different things. Always available and making sure that everything was ok. Our only issue was not having the right address for our gps since we were taking advantage of the private garage. Agnes quickly solved that for us.

Summary: We really like this place and have stayed there twice. The location is superb - unbeatable actually. Paula is a great host and Agnes, the manager very helpful. The apartment is clean and classy, and was great for a family or a couple. We will go back to this apartment someday.

Summary: Paula's apartment has everything you need. Clean, modern, the *best* shower with huge fluffy towels. Literally steps away from the train station and a stop on the main bus line. Friendly, helpful on-site property manager a definite plus. Be sure to get the "Riviera" card at the TI.. it makes all buses & trains in the region *free* and 50% off most attractions

Summary: This was our first international trip with our toddler, and this apartment was a perfect fit for our family. The location was across the street from the train station and steps away from just about everything in town. My favorite feature of the apartment was the incredible mountain views from the living room windows. With those views, you really didn't even need to leave!

Summary: This lovely rental is perfectly situated just short steps from the train station (we never heard the trains from the unit). Groceries and restaurants were also just steps away. Enjoy a stroll along Montreux’s lovely lakefront or hop on a boat and take a ride around the tip of the lake. Paula was very quick to respond to our questions and requests and Agnes was also available anytime we sent a text. The views from the balcony are gorgeous. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable, and we looked forward to returning here at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We highly recommend this property.
