Summary: The apartment was exactly as we expected from the description and photos. It was immaculate, comfortable and well maintained. The size and layout was perfect for us (couple with toddler). Plenty of room to put up a ready bed in the bedroom. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed. The only thing I would improve is the comfort of the bed and pillows for our liking but that's a minor thing. The building was lovely and we'll maintained with easy keycode entry. The location was perfect: 5-10 minutes walk from the station with shops and the lake just around the corner. The owners are lovely and service was great throughout. I highly recommend this property and would be very pleased to return. Montreux is an excellent base for a holiday. We're recommend getting the Swiss travel pass and making use of the paddle steamer cruises on the lake, the golden pass routes and the various local funiculars. The lakeside promenade is lovely. We were less impressed with visits to Lausanne and Evian. The local wine is well worth trying but go to the Coop - the deli beside the apartment is overpriced and Migros doesn't sell alcohol, which we only learnt after wandering around in confusion.
