Tortuga Bay, is located at 685 Cherokee Road, in Fort Morgan, Alabama. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath raised home which sleeps 6 people comfortably.
- Master bedroom has queen bed, guest room has 2 twin size beds and there is a pull-out full size bed in living room
- Wireless internet and cable TV available

- Water front deck for relaxing and watching sunsets- U shaped dock with boat slip for fishing

- Dolphins can usually be spotted in the bay behind house in the early afternoon (1200 to 1600), please do not feed the birds (seagulls, pelicans and cranes).
Only 4 blocks South to the beautiful beaches with public access! Nearby Airports include: Pensacola, FL (90 mins), Mobile, AL (90 mins) and Gulfport- Biloxi, MS (2 hours).
- Sassy Bass market and restaurant is located approximately 3 miles up main road going East (passed it coming in) and Tacky Jacks Restaurant and Bar is located just under 2 miles down main road going West in the marina.
- Fort Morgan is just under 3 miles West of house and is a historic Civil War site that you may want to tour
- Ferry crossing located at Fort Morgan to visit Dauphin Island either by car of on foot.
This home is pet friendly, small dogs only. Limit two dogs. No other pets allowed. The following breeds are prohibited by the association by-laws: Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, or Pit Bull. To book a pet friendly property, you MUST call the office Monday-Friday 9-5 at YOU CANNOT BOOK A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY ONLINE.
Rules for renting with a dog:
-35 lbs or less.
-Your dog must be older than 9-months.
-Your dog must always remain on a leash when outside of the home.
-You must clean up after your dog.
-No excessive barking.
-Paid pet fee of $120, PER PET. (It will be itemized on your receipt.)
Failure to follow these rules WILL result in immediate eviction of you or your dog, with no returned money.

At the time of our rental, the surrounding area was quiet outside of the sound of seagulls and mullet jumping! The house was very clean and easy to access via keypad. Property grounds were well-maintained. We enjoyed fishing off the pier and visiting (reconnecting) with neighbors. We will be back in the Fall!

House is perfect for a small family that doesn't mind a short (5min) walk to the beach.

The house is in a great location for fishing and the neighborhood is quiet with welcoming neighbors. The house is clean - we love the update to the bathroom, great shower space. It is always a bonus to take our two small dogs- love chasing lizards and sitting on the deck watching the birds. We will definitely be back in the Spring!

We were overlooking the bay with a close trip to the beach. You could walk or drive and be there quickly. It was the best of both worlds. Not to mention the neighbors were amazing and very welcoming.

Summary: Loved our stay! I loved having our own private dock. We sat out there at night listening to the water. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. A little bit of a walk to the beach but we found a place we could park that was real close to the beach but the kiddos liked walking so half the time I drove the car back and they walked :) We would rent again!

Caught tons of fish and crabs. Only issue was having a preset thermostat. It was really warm at night so it would of been nice to have some control of the thermostat.

Summary: This is our second time renting Tortuga Bay. We love this quiet spot and the neighbors are warm and friendly. The house is perfect size for our small family and we love that pets are welcome! Tortuga Bay is neat and well organized. You can fish right outside on the private dock. The top deck is perfect for grilling and lounging. We will be back!
