Beautiful, Bright and open 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath home located on a dead end street that leads to Deans Pond. Just steps to private Popponesset Beach. Very kid friendly home with many kid friendly comforts. Beautiful back deck with new Polywood dining table and 4 Adirondack chairs and outdoor shower and Webber BBQ. The side deck has pond views with partial ocean views.
Enjoy the open living concept with huge sliding doors leading to the back deck as well as the side deck overlooking the picturesque pond with a small view of the ocean in the background. The living room has a Samsung Smart TV. The bright kitchen, with Stainless Steel gas range and hood, has a skylight and a huge 6 person eat up island as well as a dining area off the kitchen with a Restoration Hardware Dining table.
Walk 5 minutes to the Popular family friendly Popponesset Inn, Marketplace and the Famous Raw Bar. This excellent location is not only steps to the beach but one of the shortest walks to the Popponesset Inn and Marketplace from the Popponesset community. Dance to the bands every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, famous lobster rolls at the raw bar, ice cream shop, pizza shop, general store, coffee shop and many fun boutiques.

Summary: We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers and the house was nice and spacious. Great location and beach access. Overall it suited our needs and we had a great trip. The cleanliness of the home was a bit disappointing. Lots of cobwebs and dust under the furniture. The kitchen cabinets were very cluttered and unorganized. Would have felt more comfortable if it was a bit more tidy but it was otherwise a good house

Summary: We stayed here for a long weekend in September. We were impressed with the property. It had a great open feel to it with plenty of room for five us to spread out. The back deck is large and lovely. There is a walkway with a bridge over the little lake to take you to the beach which really is o Lu 5 minutes away. Sleepy street. Close to some cute shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

Summary: Our family enjoyed this home and the close proximity to the beach and market place. Good size kitchen, dining and living area. It’s wonderful for children and had plenty of toys. The outside shower was a favorite!

Summary: We just got back from a great week in Popponesset! We loved the house and it was very spacious for 4 adults and 2 kids! The kitchen is fully stocked and there is tons of room for dining/entertaining. The outdoor shower/deck were amazing and the house came fully stocked with beach gear and toys. Kristy and Bill were very easy to work with and they immediately swapped out the grill when they learned one of the burners was not working properly. More importantly the house in in a perfect location near a fantastic beach, fishing pond and the Popponesset Marketplace. In fact my husband caught a fish every day!

Summary: The house is lovely. Fabulous layout and beautifully decorated with beachy theme. It could not have been nicer. Close to beach, pond and food. The outside deck is great to relax on and the area is wonderful. I highly recommend this lovely cottage.

Summary: We had a great week here in August. The house has everything you need, especially in the kitchen, very comfortable and liveable. 2 minutes to beautiful Popponesset beach, and 1 minute to Deans Pond for fishing. The whole area is quiet and we were very comfortable letting out kids scoot back and forth between the pond and the house on their own. Popponesset marketplace is less than 10 minutes walk away, which is a massive bonus over other beach houses we've rented. Already looking to return next year.

Summary: We stayed in this cottage for two weeks in July. It is the ideal location...steps from Deans Pond, the beach, marketplace, etc. The owners have done a fabulous job decorating and making the cottage bright and airy while also adding many special and personal touches that we have not found in other Popponesset cottage rentals (we have rented in this community for years!). If you are looking for the best location and want a cheerful open space to enjoy having friends/family over for dinner, this is definitely the cottage for you!
