2 Bedroom Condo in Salem

Keowee Key is a gated 'Country Club' community surrounded by pristine Lake Keowee, which is over a mile wide and 22 miles long. This 18,000 acre lake is owned by Duke Energy. Our 1,450 sq. ft. condo home overlooks a large cove and part of the mile wide north section of the main lake. It is accessible by elevator and stairs, and has private parking in front. There are two televisions and a DVD player for your use and enjoyment. View of lake from porch.
Keowee Key offers two outdoor swimming pools, a health and fitness center with an indoor pool and racquetball court, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, boat rentals, and a lighted 2.6 mile (round trip) paved lakeside leisure trail just below the condo. The beautiful clubhouse includes an excellent restaurant and full bar overlooking the professional George Cobb designed golf course. All the facilities in Keowee Key are available to renters though some require a fee. There is a new fitness center with an indoor pool and pickle ball courts, plus numerous tennis courts with various surfaces. There is a charge for using the Fitness Center unless you rent for more than 90 days. The Keowee Key Clubhouse, with several dining rooms and major credit cards are accepted at the restaurants and adjoining 18 hole golf course. Rental pontoon boats are available at the Marina office where a new swimming pool is located.

Summary: We had a fantastic Christmas Holiday at Tall Ship in Keowee Key. The condo is excellent - well decorated and spacious. There were 4 adults and two toddlers in our group and we were very comfortable. The unit was very well stocked with everything you might need. Communication with the owners was spot on. Jeff and Robin were very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property!

Summary: I was in the area for work and found the location perfect! The area is so beautiful and the paved path was an added bonus. Communication with the hosts was exceptional. The condo was very well equipped with anything you could need. It was very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to all my friends and family.

Summary: Wanted a last minute getaway to the mountains. Condo is well appointed. Kitchen had air fryer, Keurig, drip coffee maker, crockpot, toaster oven, plenty of pots/pans, and cookware. Excellent appliances. Master bed was comfortable. Nice big tiled shower. Very quiet location. Great paved walking path at the complex lets you stroll along the edge of the lake.

Summary: This condo any Keowee Key is very comfortable with a beautiful kitchen that has everything you could possibly need. My husband and I stayed 5 nights as an anniversary trip and a friend joined us for 2 nights. Bedrooms are comfortable and master bath is large. The patio is very pleasant and a good spot for a drink or a meal. The staff at Keowee Key were friendly and helpful , from the guards at the gate to the marina staff. Lots to do here and nearby. Only thing that would help would be better lighting in the living room for reading. Terrific spot for just about any season.

Summary: The 2 recliner sofas' seats are too soft and do not provide adequate back support. The sofas are the only seating options for watching TV. Don't know what can be done to correct this condition but it is a drawback for other than very short term renters.
