Summary: We had a wonderful experience and rented for 7 nights. The grandkids loved the game room! Enough room for all of us to spread out. Loved playing in the large backyard and the fire pit at night. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise. House is very well stocked and has everything you’ll need. Sara and I communicated many times prior to, during and after the rental… so sweet! Appreciated the perennials and landscaping and flowers too! Thanks Derry family for the gorgeous house, we made great memories :)

Summary: This is our third time staying here and every time we leave we are already thinking about our trip the next year!! There is so much to do. From the kayaks, to fishing off the dock, to the media room and ending the night with a fire and s’mores . Sarah is a wonderful host and she makes sure everything is perfect!! You don’t want to miss an opportunity to stay here.

Summary: The Lake house was amazing, the location was amazing as were Sara and Adam, the hosts! Very attentive if needed. Very upfront and easy to work with. High highly recommend. We would definitely rent again! The extra touches didn’t go in noticed- like a cute thank you basket left for us!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend on Lake Ripley as we attended our sons UW graduation. The house was better than apparent on the VRBO website, and the hosts Sara and Adam were very helpful. We loved being able to take out kayaks and a pontoon boat as well. We will likely be back for a future visits. We even lucked out with a full moon and lunar eclipse!

Summary: This place is beautiful. It had most everything needed. It has three bedrooms, but there is tons of open space incorporated into the interesting floor plan. The deck is a great and is very private and secluded. The theater room with the wet bar and pool table was over the top. We were not in the house enough to take advantage of this space. We liked it better at the fire pit on the lake. Short drive (20 minutes) to john Nolan drive. Grocery store one mile away. Would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Summary: This was my family's third summer vacation at Lake Ripley, and like the first two, the accommodations were excellent. The house was spotless when we arrived and the grandchildren really enjoyed the kayaks that were provided. I highly recommend this property if your considering a lake home vacation!

Summary: This home had everything we needed! Plenty of space for our family (7 adults and 4 kids). We enjoyed lots of fishing from the pier, swimming at the nearby beach and running around the yard. Kitchen and living areas were perfect for our group. Host was great to work with! It was a special place and a great trip!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house has plenty of space with multiple areas to either congregate together or hide away on your own. We worked on a 1000 piece puzzle in the living room and were able to watch movies or play billiards in the entertainment room. All of the rooms are well furnished and nicely decorated. Interesting books are spread throughout the house. The kitchen isn't super fancy but has everything you need. We had 11 people around the large dinning room table for several meals, which was great for our family vacation objective. Outside, we enjoyed the yard with its nice shade trees, firepit, and space to play yard games. We used the kayaks that came with the house just about every day. Swimming off the dock was fun, but there is a lot of vegetation in the water. We brought a large foam float pad and some innertubes which mitigated most of the crew's concerns about the water plants. We saw a lot of interesting wildlife like bull frogs, turtles, and fish. Probably the outdoor highlight was fishing off the dock. Everyone that tried caught a fish and those of us that fished daily probably caught +60 combined total over the course of the week (catch and release). Several were very nice sized bass. We had good luck with wax worms (w/ bobber), regular worms (w/ bobber), top water bait, and spinner bait. Most were caught with the wax worms. Nearby Cambridge had several nice shops and the convenience of a grocery store. We had a great week, and I would highly recommend this property.
