3 Bedroom House in Northport

Beautiful lake front home with spectacular open water views, ample parking and great access to lake. Enjoy a large screened back porch and also a gazebo with a gas firepit, both overlooking the lake. There is a large dock and additional deck over the boathouse with plenty of room for everyone to sit, swim, or sunbathe right on the water! You can enjoy swimming right off the dock.
Life jackets, kayaks and a paddle board are provided for your use. Pier 43 Marina is just down the road from us if you are interested in renting a pontoon boat to explore Lake Tuscaloosa or bring your own jet skis. There is plenty of room to park a pontoon boat next to the dock and there are two floating jet ski ramps for your use if needed.
The house will accommodate six people; a king bed in the primary, queens in the other two bedrooms and two baths.
Linens and towels are provided for all beds and bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to make your stay comfortable, including a blender and a Keurig coffee maker, or if you want to cook outside, a charcoal grill/smoker is available. When the cooking is done you can relax in the hammock or enjoy the evening breezes from the screened in back porch, with great views of the lake.
Other amenities include two large screen TVs, high speed internet/WIFI, full size washer/dryer, wine cooler, mini refrigerator, a large dining and sitting area in the screened back porch.
The University of Alabama is located about 15 miles from our lake house. Toward Tuscaloosa, about 6 miles away, is a shopping center which includes a Winn Dixie grocery store, Subway, hair salon, clothing boutique, Frieda's Mexican Restaurant and 43 Prime Steakhouse. Also in this area is a CVS, McDonald's, Jack's, and Domino's Pizza, Waffle House and Jalapeno's Mexican Restaurant. On highway 69, 7.5 miles away, there is a Publix grocery store shopping center with a liquor and cigar store, hair salon, nail studio, and Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant.

Summary: Property is awesome with multiple outside amenities that make it a perfect getaway outside of Tuscaloosa. Much better option than hotels in Tuscaloosa if you are coming in for gameday.

Summary: We invited our Family from Washington, Arkansas, Texas, Kentucky & North Carolina for the UT BAMA Game as a Celebration Gift for our Family. The layout of the house & outdoor decks were perfect for our gathering. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again if the home is available.

Summary: We love staying out of T-town for game weekends and being on the lake is perfect. The house was as described, clean, and the use of the paddle board & kayaks was a nice bonus. We would stay again!

Summary: The property was better than the pictures show, very clean, and the hosts were fantastic. We needed odd checkin/checkout hours and Ronnie was very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend.

Summary: This brief weekend stay was amazing! We absolutely loved every single thing about this rental. The house is gorgeous and definitely is way better in person than in the pictures. This house had plenty of room for everyone in our group to spread out when we wanted to but also, enjoy each other's company. We also had a few friends over after my husband graduated from UA and there was plenty of seating for us all to enjoy a nice sit down brunch followed by some cards and social time. I have stayed in plenty of locations and lots of VRBO rentals and this one is definitely at the top of my list! The host was sooo accommodating and helpful and they left a few small welcome gifts in the house for us which was a nice touch. If you are on the fence about this one, it is a definite win. BOOK IT!

Summary: We rented this stunning Lakehouse sight unseen for 4 days to attend our son's graduation from Tuscaloosa and have a long weekend celebration and wow!!! We fished, kayaked, stayed up late around the gorgeous gazebo firepit making s'mores, and even had a crawfish boil for all his friends to attend. It was amazing. You never know what a VRBO is going to look like until you show up - maybe the pix are 20 years old or they used a filter to make it look better - but for this property, the pix do NOT do it justice. It is so beautiful, so peaceful, so well taken care of and the owners Mr. Ronnie and Mrs. Mary Ann are the sweetest people, answering all of our questions and so available and helpful, even with graduation logistics tips! Would recommend highly!!! Only about 20 minute drive to UA campus and was less expensive than putting all of our people up in 4 hotels rooms. Even the pots and knives were excellent so all of our cooking was a joy. I will be seriously angry at anyone who stays here and does not take good care of this property - it is so lovely you feel you are in a home, not a rental and we want to come back! 10 / 10
