Summary: Rental process was east, owners were very responsive, house was as advertised (actually seemed nicer in person). We were very pleased with our stay.

Summary: Stayed here in July 2022, interior of the house was clean an organized and was as described in the listing. Owners were very responsive. Houses in this part of the world don't have AC so keep the ceiling fans on and windows open. Luckily it cools off at night. Only one night in mid-July was above 65 during our stay. The house faces North so you don't get direct sun on the house in the evening or morning. Beds were comfortable as well - no complaints. The master shower didn't have water pressure but not a big deal as there other shower did plus there's an outdoor shower as well. One TV has Roku which is nice as you can use the guest log in to access your accounts. There's a larger TV that didn't seem to work but no big deal. Internet has decent speed as well. The back porch could uses a cleaning - lot's of bugs on the siding. The propane grill's electric starter didn't work so you'll need to use a match. My personal grill starter is broken as well so it seems to be a common issue with electric starters. Again, not a big deal. There's floaties in the shed a long with other items (fishing poles, etc..) which is nice. The property is about an acre which is nice as there aren't too many people around. Fogs are everywhere so if you have kids they'll have fun catching them. For the lake you'll want water shoes - just watch out for jet skis.

Summary: Stayed 8 nights. Bedrooms & hall have carpet. Upon our arrival, we immediately noticed that the master bedroom and hall carpet was damp, stained and had an extremely strong urine odor. The numerous humid days with little breeze didn't help dry or dissipate the odor which lingered for several days. We saw a mouse multiple times and droppings in the pantry where we kept our dry goods, such as cereal and chips. We purchased traps at Dollar General but they weren't good quality and the mouse continued to enjoy multiple meals. If not for these instances, we would have given a good review. This experience has taught us to not rent accommodations that have carpet if they allow pets.

Summary: I stayed at this property with a group of 4 adults and 4 children between the ages of 5 and 9. The house has plenty of space in all the right places including double living rooms that allow for all to spread out and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate this size group. The outdoor area has privacy, space and a breathtaking view. There are plenty of supplies for lake activities as well as kitchen items. The host is thorough and very responsive. This is truly a special spot!

Summary: We spent a week here with our 5 adult children. There was lots of room and a beautiful location. All of the necessary amenities were there and close to a golf course. It would also be great if you have little ones with a play area an shallow, calm water. We will be back.

Summary: This property had everything we need Ed’s do more. The family ranged in age from 14 - 62. The neighborhood is private and quiet. The backyard is set so you feel like you are on the island alone. Wonderful experience. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Summary: This rental is all about location. If you are looking to be out of town on a quiet island this is the place. The sunsets are amazing and the overall peaceful surroundings are hard to beat. The property is adequate for a week's time. The amenities are minimal and we had to bring a lot of personal items to make the place feel comfortable (ie: dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, linens, towels, laundry detergent etc.) Lake Champlain is also know to have algae issues, especially during the hotter days of summer and unfortunately this property experienced just that. I think it's important for the listing to make that known to potential renters especially if they have children. There were several days our kids were unable to use the beach because of the amount of algae present. We escaped to a near by sandy dune beach, but our intent was to use the beach we had rented. It's nothing anyone can control, but important for people to know prior to booking. Communication with the owner was a breeze and response times were fast. That was greatly appreciated.

Summary: Very nice property. Lots of room both inside and out. Generous supply of floats, life vests and lawn furniture. House is spacious with well stocked kitchen. Most beautiful sunsets.
