This 85-acre preserve offers year-round free access to 480 million year old fossils from the Chazy Fossil Reef. Visitors can take a self guided tour of the fossils and continue to explore the beautiful former farm fields on longer trails traversing the property.

Summary: We stayed here over the weekend of my Aunts 80th birthday. It was 5 minutes down the road from her home. Our particular cottage was small for 4 people, but very clean, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with every thing but foods, beverages and personal items.

Summary: We selected the cottage as a midway point between Montreal and Burlington and were able to do easy day trips to both. The cottage itself was super clean and the bed very comfortable. The deck provided a nice shaded area in the morning for relaxing. We enjoyed the peace and the comfort of the location!

Summary: As soon as we arrived on the property and got settled in it was great to sit outside on the little porch and enjoy the peace and quiet under the stars. We had never seen a night sky so clear! The cottage was very clean and had everything that we needed. We even got out on the tandem kayak the next day and paddled around the lake for a while.This was truly a much needed escape for us and we enjoyed every part of our stay and look forward to staying here again!
