Very spacious and high quality 2 double bedroom/2 bathroom completely independent apartment, recently refurbished master bedroom, located on the entire bottom floor of a large villa with a stunning 1800 square meter garden (ideal playing space for children). The owners live in a separate part of Villa Juana and respect the tenants privacy during their stay (as is confirmed by our reviews). This property is unique as you have the luxury of renting a villa type property at apartment prices! The property also includes a garage, a swimming pool and barbecue. The apartment, garden, lower balcony, pool and garage (for one car) are not utilised by any other tenants during your stay. The pool is also not utilised by the owners when tenants are at the property.
Fantastic sea and mountain views. One of the most "rural" areas of the Costa del Sol. The villa is located in an exclusive urbanization with excellent/easy access from the main coast road and is literally a stone's throw from the beach. The property is fully enclosed and safe for children. Very quiet and peaceful area but still only a 10minute drive or easy bus ride to urban centers such as benalmadena costa or fuengirola. The property is located right next to the coast road/beach and is approximately 200m up a steep hill from the n-340.
Is renting a car necessary?: Although a car is recommended for site seeing, it is not required. All the essentials are within a maximum of 15 minutes walk from the villa.
Train station: 15 minutes walk (Malaga to Fuengirola);
Bus stop: 5 minutes walk (Malaga to Marbella);
Beach: 15 minutes walk;
Supermarket (open 7 days a week): 10 minutes;
Restaurants/bars: 10 minutes;
More information on the local area: The villa is situated in one of the most beautiful, quiet and less urbanized areas of the Costa del Sol. The main street outside the house is a windy and scenic 2km route up to the idyllic Benalmadena Pueblo (local village). If you enjoy walking/hiking, it is a very enjoyable 25-30min walk up to the village. Once in the village, you have panoramic views of the whole area and there are plenty of options for eating, drinking and you can find all the services of a normal town (ie. supermarket, banks, post office).
If you walk in the other direction (south), you will find yourself on the beach within 5 minutes. Once on the coast road, you can enjoy a walk either west or east in which you have beach after beach to choose from .
What to do?: When staying at Villa Juana, you can spend your whole time relaxing around your private terrace/balcony/pool and garden. For the more adventurous, there is plenty to see both culturally and nature wise in and around the province of Malaga.
If you rent a car, within a one hour drive you can enjoy scenic drives that lead you to beautiful Andalusian mountain village such as Mijas and Ronda. For those who thoroughly enjoy unspoiled/protected beaches, within a 45 minute drive East of Villa Juana are the wonderful beaches of Nerja.
For those who are into sporting activities, it is very easy to go hiking around the area as it is surrounding by local mountain and hiking paths.
Culturally, an easy/cheap train ride to Malaga centre has a lot to offer: from Moorish ruins, a Roman amphitheatre, a wonderful cathedral, the museum of Picasso.

Summary: A lovely welcome from the hosts after a troubled journey. They were both very helpful in helping us resolve a car hire issue. Quiet area with fantastic views and lots of space for a family of 4. Would absolutely recommend this for a relaxing stay.

Summary: I went with my wife and little daughter here and enjoyed every second of it. You have a view to make your eyes water. The Family running this Villa is super sweet, helpful and respectful. I can’t recommend this enough. Worth every dime. I will definitely come back.

Summary: The apartment is very spacious and clean with the best equipped kitchen we have ever had at a VRBO rental. The hosts, Taysir and Sonia, were there to help when we needed. We stayed at the property for 3 weeks and it was ideal as home base to explore Andalusia - and with beautiful sunrises over the Mediterranean

Summary: Location is closely located to beach with 10-15 minute walk down the hill however larger beaches with bars / restaurants were bit further away. If you have a car driving up the hill to Benalmádena Pueblo will provide a good selection of restaurants with scenic surroundings. Bedrooms, lounge & bathrooms are good size however kitchen is quite small but has hob, fridge freezer, microwave & washing machine. Parking is available off road for one vehicle. Hosts were very friendly providing full uninterrupted access to pool & grounds. Property would benefit from a decorative refresh.

Summary: Lovely property. You stay downstairs in the villa (about 10 stairs down) Large and roomy. Would reommend a fan for the dining area. Beautiful views from the pool. Beds comfortable. Short distance to beach but you need a car. Would definitely return. Hosts most accommodating

Summary: The villa was lovely and spacious, if a little dated inside, and the pool area and views were amazing. Sonia was lovely and let us check in early as we had an early flight, she even took us to the Mercadona for our first shop. The villa had everything we needed (apart from extra pillows for beds) but could have benefitted from a little folder including instructions for using air con etc and rules of the house - we had been up from 2am so was hard to take in verbal instructions. Villa is situation up a VERY steep hill from the coast which limited our movement while we were there as I couldn't manage the walk up and we relied a lot on taxis after a night out. Also, as the listing states there is a bus stop down the hill (5/10mins) but this goes to Fuengerola. If you want to go to Benalmadena or Torremolinos as we did it's a 20/25mins walk to the bus stop, part of it up hill. There is a supermarket 10/15mins walk away but is quite expensive. The Mercadona is a 25/30min walk away. We were told to have a shower before going in the pool but this stopped working 3 days into the holiday. Also, the water temperature esp in the showers was very tempremetal. The villa does have WiFi but we found this very hit and miss esp in the bedrooms. The male owner was also outside a lot which made us feel a little uncomfortable. The villa is gorgeous and the location is beautiful and we made use of the pool a lot but a car would definitely be advised as the hill is VERY steep esp with bags

Summary: The villa has everything you need, supermarkets such as Mercadona, are just 5 minutes drive from the house. The garden and pool are simply amazing and Sonia and Taysir gives you total privacy to enjoy them but knowing they are always available in case you need something. It takes you 5 minutes to drive to Fuengirola beach,a nice beach with all the facilities, restaurants, chiringuitos and shops. You can also drive to Benalmádena beach in just 12 minutes. Also, you can enjoy summer nights at one of the night clubs in just 10 minutes walking. Thank you so much Taysir and Sonia for being such a lovely hosts. We hope we can come back next year! Summary: The apartment was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed it was also lovely and cool as we remembered to lower the shutters during the day. Sonia and Tasir were lovely people and so helpful. You wouldn't know they were there (we would actually have like to spend a little time with them) they are so helpful, Tasir even offered to take us to the supermarket but we had already gotten a taxi the day before. The pool and garden area is beautiful. The villa is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and the views are lovely. We were on a very delayed honeymoon and it was without a doubt the best holiday we've had. A big thank you again to Tareq, Sonia and Tasir for letting us stay at their beautiful villa. We will be saving to get back someday. It's 5 stars from us.

Summary: We had a great week staying at this lovely villa. Very peaceful location. The place had everything we needed. The pool was used often especially by my 5 year old daughter. Beach and restaurants a short walk down the hill and then a quick taxi ride to get back up to the Villa cost about €5 from the small supermarket. We took the M-120 bus into Fuengirola and back a couple of times, bus stop at the bottom on the hill. The hosts were absolutely amazing, very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
