Solbakken's Guest House is a gorgeous log home located a short drive up the Caribou Trail near Lutsen on a bluff overlooking Caribou Lake. Filled with details reflecting a real craftsman's touch, this home is light and airy with lots of windows.
With 3 bedrooms (2 queens and 1 king size bed), 4 bathrooms, a loft with sofa sleeper and lower level walk out with Queen Murphy bed, this home can accommodate 10 people. The master bathroom even has a jet air tub, shower and double sinks!
The view from the great room, dining room, deck and walk-out lower level with patio is awesome year round. An easy to work in kitchen and large dining room make this home perfect for a family get-together!

Summary: Our stay was very nice. We would have liked to have the kitchen stocked a little better with salt, pepper, paper towels, spices, and condiments. The views were out of this world! There was plenty of firewood for the inside fireplaces. This was a HUGE bonus!

Summary: The cabin and property is beautiful and very quiet. It was really relaxing sitting by the fire and decks. The cabin was for the most part pretty clean. The only issue we had, the downstairs LR smelt so bad of animal urine. Which made it very hard to be down stairs because it was so bad. We did open the windows and patio door to help. Recommend taking the carpet out. Other than that, we had a good family vacation.

Summary: We rented this beautiful home last weekend for cross country skiing with friends. We were amazed by the beautiful home with it floor to second story glass windows. The house was immaculately clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was a spacious home with a cozy feel. We loved it so much we booked another weekend next year.

Summary: Very clean, plenty of space and very comfortable. Would recommend this rental to anyone I know. Only suggestion is they could really use a TV on the main floor in the great room. It gets lonely when your cooking or cleaning and everyone is watching the game downstairs. Plenty of space to add a TV in the main floor living room. Thanks!
