Summary: Our overall stay was great however check-in was a fiasco. We had 2 back to back reservations for total 5 nights and it created drama throughout our stay. Maybe new employees? Not sure. But the room was large, very clean and welcoming, lots of storage, a stocked bathroom. Bed was comfy, pillows flat as a pancake though. Pet friendly and there was a large pet bed, bowls, treats and waste bags in the room (there us a nightly pet fee though). Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, terrific winery down the street. Great location to hiking, waterfalls, golf and snow sports in the winter. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Summary: Needed a room for a single night for a golf tournament at Superior National. The room at Mountain Inn was perfect. Less than 2 miles away and the room was spacious and super clean. A small fridge and a coffee maker was perfect! The staff was amazingly pleasant and made check-in/check-out super easy! Thank you!

Summary: Good service, large room with comfortable king bed. There were a few things that needed repair- the bathroom door knob and the bathroom sinks drain was slow.

Summary: Very clean, comfy, affordable hotel in Lutsen. I love how they use large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash for the shower, instead of using little individual bottles (the Earth does, too!;) but it would be nice if they were mounted in the shower, as the shape of the bottles intended, for easier use. But it's a quiet hotel, surrounded by wilderness. Their little seating spots, grill & fire pit were precious and gave good space for watching all kinds of wild life. They have an honor system for paying for well stocked snacks in their kitchen, with only complimentary coffee & tea. Overall, a very nice, stress-free stay, and we would come again.
