Summary: This is a wonderful, clean apartment in a quiet town just outside of Wuerzburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed home away with a beautiful patio. The hosts were very nice and personable.

Summary: It is a spacious apartment for for 2 people but also ok for up to 4 people. It has a very nice patio to use. Great place for a stay to do excursions to surrounding Franconian towns, rivers and other attractions. The host is great! The public bus runs on the street. After a wine testing in Würzburg or surrounding a save way to get "home".

Summary: This must be one of the best apartments we have stayed in - and we have used many over the last decade. The hosts, Herr & Mme Heublien and their English speaking daughter could not have been nicer and were most helpful. The ground floor facilities could not be faulted with a fully furnished kitchen, bathroom and comfortable lounge. We also had use of an extensive utility area for washing and drying clothes. The TV and wifi worked very well and we were even able to get Sky News in English! The property is situated in a small village about 3 miles from Wurzberg. There are a number of local shops and an hotel with a good restaurant attached as well as the butcher's shop. There is also a bakery and a curious Greek import shop with several tasty wines. All these facilities are within 10 minutes' walk of the apartment. Although we spoke no German the village residents were very friendly and helpful. There is a good bus service to Wurzberg (25 minutes without too much traffic!) and to the Real Hypermarket (10 minutes) where any items you will need will be available. The local bus stop is only 200 yards from the apartment up the hill. The buses run about every 15 minutes during the day. Wurzberg is a lovely medium size city well worth a few days' visit. The Residence, Castle on the hill and a boat trip on the Main river are highly recommended. Don't forget to have a glass of wine on the Old Bridge!

Summary: We stayed in Frau und Herr Hüblein's apartment this summer, and from day one until our last day we loved it. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and decorated. Everything is clean, new, functional and beautiful. The apartment is very bright, yet cool even during hot summer days. It is quiet, yet very well connected to get into town, but also to go for a walk across the fields. And the terrace (patio) is another luxury feature. We had dinner outside whenever possible, and one sits privately, as the terrace is shielded from the street, facing a beautiful flower bed in front, and a large patio umbrella to protect from sun (and rain). The hosts are incredibly nice, welcoming, and flexible. They are always eager to address whatever needs or questions we had. We had experienced complicated hosts, with very rigid views on how to behave. None of this happened with the Hüblein's - they made us feel at home and enjoy our stay every minute. They even shared some birthday cake with us - we were very touched. Also, there are a variety of shops, including grocery stores, close by. A bakery, a butcher and two restaurants are located within a few blocks in the village. The village church bells are another nice feature of this apartment. We already asked to come back, as this was our best stay in the Würzburg area by far. Simply fantastic.

Summary: Although the owner of the apartment doesn't speak English, she went out of her way to welcome me as I arrived from California by having an English speaking neighbor present. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had all you could need. WIFI was and available and fast. The kitchen was excellent. There was a spacious patio area and a place to park your car should you have one.The neighborhood was very nice. It was quiet and safe. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the owner for her kindness and hospitality!
