4 Bedroom House in Watch Hill, Westerly

Our home is situated in a serene location just steps from East Beach and a short walk from downtown Watch Hill and Bay St. shops. It is a very private location with a secluded pool, front courtyard with outdoor shower to rinse off on your way back from the beach, deck, backyard and screen porch.
Most of the walls in our home feature full length windows that allow for an abundance of natural light in the house. They can all be opened to just a screen to allow for warm breezes to flow through the home and give the sense that you're always outside. Better yet - leave the windows open and listen to the waves crashing onto the beach.
The open floor plan features plenty of living area with spacious bedrooms.
Master Suite: Queen bed with generous closet and drawer space and private bathroom featuring dual-head shower
Bedrooms Two and Three: Large rooms each with their own private outdoor terraces that feature private fireplaces, personal gardens and patios. The two bedrooms have sizable closets and share a brand new bathroom with an overhead dual-head shower.
Bedroom Four: Full sized bed and second wall concealing private vanity and dressing area - connects to third bathroom. Bedroom Four has a new Peloton bike to get your workout in before heading to the beach for the day.
As a family of restaurateurs and chefs, we installed a chef's kitchen that is perfect for big family dinners with all stainless steel appliances, a six burner gas stove, two ovens and a large griddle. There is a refrigerator/freezer and two sinks. We have a coffee machine, blender, toaster and every other tool or appliance you would possibly need, as well as pots of every size (including a giant one for steaming lobster - it's huge so we keep it in the basement so please let us know if you'd like us to get it out for you!). We also have a grill and outdoor cooler outside on the deck and more plates, cups and silverware than you could ever need.
In the living room we have a leather sectional couch with another leather armchair. There is a 70” flatscreen HD TV as well as high speed wifi throughout the house.
We also have a desk facing out over the private courtyard for anyone looking to do a bit of work during their stay.
In terms of proximity, the house is just a two minute walk to Watch Hill's famous East Beach and a quarter mile from The Misquamicut Club golf course. It is also a short walk to the Ocean House.

Summary: We had a wonderful family trip - we loved enjoying the pool and having the beach a short walking distance away. The beach was quiet, not crowded and the town was nearby.

Summary: We had so much fun and pleasantly surprised how close we were to East Beach. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking meals and the sunroom was perfect, my favorite place to be! Rain or shine. My kids grew up visiting their grandparents every summer in Nantucket. They said this was the best vacation they’ve ever had. It was also exciting they got to see Olivia Culpo heading to her wedding at Watch Hill Chapel. We hope to come back !!

Summary: This is a gem. The house and pool are top notch. It is a quiet secluded location and only a 5 minute walk to one of the best and least crowded beaches on the east coast.

Summary: Overall, this was beautiful hidden gem 5 min walk to beach. House was roomy and felt like home. Loved the old doors and fold out windows to the screened in porch! Pool was a plus since we like pool and beach. Beach was tops! Not many people and beautiful. There are many modern touches and some old farm style. I would recommend if you want to splurge like we did~

Summary: A group of 8 friends got together for a long weekend and we hardly left the property as this house had everything we needed! The kitchen is very well equipped which we loved since we cooked all weekend. The windows that open onto the patio and the deck/pool area were perfect for relaxing and visiting. We'd definitely come back to this spot for another getaway!
