Positive: It would have been helpful if the ads listed what floor is on, also the picture of the fireplace led is to believe we would be able to have a fire and listen to waves but the fireplace had out of order sign on it.

Negative: Lock box for room keys is next to impossible to open because of its location. You cannot see the numbers for each button you need to press as it is so dark, even in the daytime. The numbers are just small, raised digits in the plastic on the very small lock box which is mounted on the outer door frame approximately 1” away from the side wall. You had to feel the tiny 1/8” numbers like you were reading Braille! We finally had to ask the nice woman in the office to help us access the keys. She agreed the lock box very difficult to access. We also didn’t realize that this unit is on the 4th floor with no elevator. We are quite elderly and we’re unable to carry our possessions up 3 flights of stairs. Again the lady came to our rescue and did it for us. Another woman helped us carry everything down to our car when we left. If it hadn’t been for them we would have been forced to leave. Of course we tipped them generously. The unit itself was relatively clean, spacious and very quiet with gorgeous views. However it is in need of a lot of refurbishment. The stove is in a deplorable state and very dirty. One of the recliner chairs is broken, and the couch fabric is worn and stapled in place where it was ripped. A glass globe covering one of the hall bathroom lights is missing, and just has a bare bulb. The master bedroom bath has no switch for the mirror lights. The cords on the Venetian blind in the master bedroom are broken and the blind cannot be raised. The carpet throughout the unit is covered with stains. This unit needs a lot of help in its appearance and condition!
Summary: Would have been wonderful if unit was in decent condition and no/minimum stairs for elderly people.

Positive: Kitchen well stocked, except for seasonings or coffee. Lots of pans, dishes and utensils, but no big lids for the big pan for steaming/ boiling. Lots of appliances. Lots of ice trays and an ice bucket in freezer. Loved the sink and faucet in kitchen and abundant counter space. Nice to have full size water/ dryer, and beds were both king size with comfortable bedding and pillows. Lots of extra blankets and pillows, and I think I even saw an air bed for extra sleeping space that could be used. The most gorgeous beachfront/ ocean view, much better than in Lincoln City. Fantastic hot water heater and water pressure in shower/ tub filled very fast. We were able to spend a few extra dollars to have a late/ extended checkout so it allowed us sleep in until noon and clean and pack and get out by 2:00 p.m. Customer service was easy to set up a chat with via text, via Vacasa, when we had questions.
Negative: Lockbox was hard to open and put keys back into. Initial checkout was 10am (IMO that's just ridiculous when you're on vacation!) They charged us $17+ for extended checkout, without a promise of what that extended time exactly was. (We were given a possible range and a charge and we were not told what the actual checkout time was extended to, until after we paid.) No cushions on outdoor benches. Leaf(s) are out of dining table, so the dining chairs did not fit beneath table (6 chairs but only 4 fit between the legs). The refrigerator temp was inconsistent; items in door were tepid, while our pasta ended up freezing solid in back of fridge. We used oven and it smoked. We are not sure if it was the old broiler pan being a bit grungy, or if it was something in the bottom of the oven. (Maybe if we had some foil in the room we could have lined the broiler pan and it would not have smoked?) The rest of the complex was ran by different, on-site management, so that was weird. We didn't know if we had access to the game room or not. The address was not listed in booking.ccm, so tapping "directions" brought us to the wrong location because it was looking at the nickname of the unit instead of the address. Booking.com only had the "(ZIP code), United States". Had to dig for email on my phone, but there was limited reception so we had to go find some place with Wi-Fi in order to pull up the email confirmation in order to get the full address. This made it very confusing to find initially. The unit itself was filled with older appliances and furniture in kitchen and living room, but we assume that's why we were offered a discounted rate.
